Great to see some Integrity is Mbeumo representation on the pod. Vamps is a crucial member of our squad and it's important to allow our players some time away from the pitch during the international break to stay fresh :bryan: Fuck ruud bullet
My xMins is based on a prediction to play the next game based on expert opinion which blends over the longer term with long term data driven xMins. Personally don't feel there is a cap on minutes for a player. I do feel that longer term minutes will bake that in naturally based on the natural fitness of the player or manager preference to rotate
@@FF_Vamps Great I do similar. I just wonder if I should dip certain weeks though. I wonder if my xMins by future gameweek is too linear. For example Gross found my model out recently. Consensus was nailed to start but he'd played 90 in the midweek cup game so ended up getting benched at the weekend. It must not be too difficult to predict these benchings.
I think that's where expected starts from a reliable source will help with that. Blending expert information with long term data should find these and provide greater xMins in the short to medium term
Another great podcast. Nice one to have during the international break.
lovely listen, thanks guys!
Can't wait to watch this episode. Great guests to have on!

Do you guys look at minutes played during the last X days with the assumption it is capped, with a view to predict players getting a rest?
