The trailers were nightmare fuel alright , but now that Nick Cage is playing a serial killer who may or may not be a supernatural entity, that's definitely something that deserves my attention
how so
I was so excited for this movie and hearing that there's a possible supernatural element to it...wah wah wah
@@shannonrusso3853 don't know exactly what crawled up your ass , but godspeed
@@shannonrusso3853 😮💨😪
@@shannonrusso3853That's a bummer for you.
Blackcoat's Daughter almost made me physically ill, and not from gore. Oz Perkins has mad skills.
"Mandy" was an amazing Nic Cage movie. This movie feels akin to that flavor.
Mandy was his big comeback film.
Mandy is awesome💪
Thee director of Mandy probably had a lot to do with that being amazing though Cage delivered the goods with some classic Cage Rage moments. Looking forward to Longlegs!
I guess I'm in the minority. I thought that was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Nothing happened pretty much the whole movie and then he killed a bunch of people and it was the end. I think people like Nick Cage just because he's Nick Cage even if he's in really bad movies. Same thing with Color out of space. I bought it and hated it but so many people love it. And don't get me wrong. I love Nick Cage but he makes a lot of bad movies
Willys Wonderland was his best film because he was paid so little he had no talking in the film and it was still great, lol???
So good!
I loved his 15 minute break moments especially the mid fight one.
Was better than the FNAF movie
Really? I thought that film was absolutely dreadful. Each to their own though I guess.
I love that film, its so good just for relaxing to on a saturday night with a few beers.
The marketing for this movie has been perfection...hope these reviews stand up as it looks amazing.
Nicolas Cage the gift that keeps giving, what a legend.
Definitely looking forward to this.
Anyone who doubts Cage's acting chops needs to watch Leaving Las Vegas. It will leave a long impression. I did really like Mandy, too
Also need to view Raising Arizona... to add to his range as an actor.
Pig also
Color out of space is a banger too
Heartbreaking, truly
Cage works his ass off in Hollywood and probably has more credits than any other actor.
Its cause he went broke, he blew his A class star $$ in 90s buying like trex skull for millions stuff like that never paid the taxes. So now he is building his retirerment
@@captaintoyota3171 it's been a few years since he paid all that off lol, that's old news
Sam Jackson probs has more movies
@@jamesdonoughue4557 I think James Wong probably has the record.
Sam Jack!
Cage was an absolute joy in Renfield.
in an awful film
@paulwoodford1984 is awful in a fun throw alway type of movie.
The movie was terrible and I loved every minute of it
The Teddy Lobo shit ruined it.
Yes!
I am 100% in. I would watch Nick Cage mow his lawn.
Raising Arizona is definitely my favorite Cage film.
H i am very much looking forward to seeing this - Love Cage in everything he does - I want him to keep making more and more movies, I think he is one of the last creative genius actors, who is criminally underrated, and deserves more success.
I love crime thrillers and detective films in general so I’m very much looking forward to this.
Wasn't there a split-second shot in the 1st trailer which showed Cage swinging an axe down on somebody? The film seems to be living up to its hype, & that's fantastic. The creepy, unsettling, and my head pulled down into my shoulders feeling I got in both trailers seems to be an accurate portrayal of the whole movie. Last good horror films I've seen are Talk to Me & Late Night with the Devil. Been looking for a stellar one since....
Maika Monroe supremacy, let's goooo
The Guest! It Follows!
Just watched God is a Bullet she's amazing in that
Oooooh. I'm excited for this. Sounds like new cage rage
Looks interesting, im all for a Cage flick, especially horror.
I watched a film called Infested (2024) which is the first movie by the director thats doing the new Evil Dead. And i must say, its the best spider flick since arachnophobia. Very tense and creepy.
Was it good? I was thinking about checking it out on shudder
Thanks for the suggestion! I love me spider horror movies.
@rjzavala87 definitely worth your time. I'd give it a 8/10
@BearPawSwipe if you like arachnophobia, you'll definitely like this. Its arachnophobia on steroids.
@@abrimfulofasha cool deal! Will check it out!
I’ve been DYING to see this since the very first short teaser was released… loved Black Coats Daughter but this looks like it will be levels better!
I enjoyed the screener i saw.it is very disturbing and nightmarish indeed.
Cage is obviously capable of a truly terrifying performance, it's actually surprising it hasn't happened already tbh.
Saw a RUclips ad trailer for this a week ago and thought it was REALLY creepy. I had no clue Nicholas Cage was in this and now I’m even more interested 😯
Big thanks for covering this, I am beyond excited.
Very excited for this and Nosferatu to scratch my horror itch.
I really appreciate this channel. You are always on the lookout for good movies in a time where the industry seems to be falling apart and its tempting to just give up on the whole thing
Looking fwrd to this! Also, sharp haircut guy!
I’m super psyched for this! ❤
Nicholas Cage in the horrifying thriller "The tax man".
IT WAS JIMMY CARR IN THE MIRROR!
Most anticipated movie of 2024. Maika Monroe as lead and Cage as Villain?! Yes!
Maika Monroe is in it so I'm already on board. Instant fan of hers
A serial killer movie with no marketing of the villain?? Seven, anyone? Sign me up.
Nicolas cage staying out of the promotion of this film has ironically made the marketing skyrocket. Thats how it should be. The less actors talk about movies the more curious we are
This looks AMAZING. Can’t wait for trap as well!
Didn't realize this is by the director of Blackcoat's Daughter. Definitely has potential.
He appears clean shaving here, but you know he means business when he's sporting a gruff beard!!!... ( Different genre but Pig definitely springs to mind... ) ~
The trailers for this do look awesome!!!... "Listen Loud the Serpents, See the Slithering Darkness"... CHILLING... ~
( He has another movie coming out this year called Arcadian which also looks pretty good... )
The only genre where I don’t trust reviews is in horror. Horror is completely subjective, so what scares one person might not do anything for someone else. Talk to Me was one movie that got a lot of hype and did nothing for me. Same with Skinamarink, a movie I despised with every fiber of my being. I just don’t trust people to be objective about the movies in the genre.
Moody tunes, ❤️😊
Yes, Sir! 👏🏽 I'm down for whatever NickCage puts out. Wish I coulda been in Theater for his 'Dream Scenario,' LastYear. (Loved watching it at Home eitherway) 💯.
But I've been excited since Feb. When I heard bout LongLegs. Can't wait to see it, looks GnArly in the Best ways 🥺🤘🏽
Will this be in theaters
I got the opportunity to see a screening of this a ways back, it's crazy good, this and "In and Violent Nature" where the best horror movies of the year
I can’t wait to see it! I have to wait til July for this and cuckoo
I’ve been looking forward to this film. Definitely a day one watch for me.
Can’t wait to see it.
When I'm looking for something to watch, "Nicolas Cage" is my first search. I don't think I've ever NOT liked anything he's been in (except that one exception.) I never stopped watching any movie he's been in. He's always a safe bet.
I cannot wait to see this.. looks amazing and cage is my favorite actor cuz when he’s on he’s a force to be reckoned with.
Never heard of this movie. Thanks for the review. I’ll give it a go
I'm super interested in this. Please live up to the hype 🙏.
Anything with nick cage I love
Perkin's did Gretel and Hansel? I walked out of that movie. I'm not convinced.
I loved Mandy. It wasn't a shit show. It's actually kind of like a cult classic now.
He may not be your cup of tea. He’s still a skilled filmmaker.
I enjoyed Civil War but I thought the film MEN was absolutely dreadful. Same filmmaker and two very different films.
Same as Oz Perkins. One film that you didn't like doesn't show that he sucks.
Should be on a film by film basis.
Multiple trailers of this were fantastic.
Did you call Mandy a sh*itshow? Uhh..
Yeah that surprised the shit out of me 😮
nick cage....his recent movies have rocked for me, need to see long legs and arcadian though - i mean the guy was put forward for a movie about truffle and a pig...also loved him as dracula :)
I'm not a massive fan of cage, but his later stuff is pretty decent...not the vampire one, though. Can't remember the name, but the syfi one he was in was pretty good.
By the way nice hair cut. Looks sharp.
This is my most anticipated movie that I know of this year!
This looks like it's going to be a great show can't wait to see it
2024 has been pretty dope for horror. This wasn't even on my radar... super pumped
The only thing I ever liked Cage in was Raising Arizona.
Interesting.
I'm super hyped for longlegs
it had that alien 79 trailer vibe disturbing and not showing much
Yay...first..agree it looks interesting
Dream scenario, mandy, pig, I'm always looking forward for some Nick Cage madness even the bad Cage movies are bad guilty pleasure good like ghost rider
Mandy was just so so Good
Good.
I liked cage in colour from space
Sounds good
I just came from the long legs trailer and had to slow it down and reverse it . What i saw was a creature , half man and half insect . Whether it was a hallucination made up in someones mind or. An actual creature i cant say.
C'mon Mr. H.....If it's Nicholas Cage, its going to be a great movie.
False.
Mandy, is a great horror movie.
Hey Mr h big fan me and my girlfriend love watching your content been watching you since you were making stuff about how razor and how razor origins. It's awesome that you get into all the same stuff that I do me being 38 and being from the slash rare I felt like we would have been bros if we would have lived closer lol That being said I want to let you in on a trailer that you might have missed it's called The watchers with Amanda Seyfried it's a really crazy horrifying trailer. It looks intense it's coming out in June The trailer dropped like two months ago so I thought I'd let you know so you can go over and review it!
Sounds like Amanda the Jedi will probably be making a very interesting review video.
Very few movie trailers these days can draw me in. Long Legs did it quite effortlessly. I'll definitely be watching it as soon as I can. 👍👍
Longlegs or In a Violent Nature for best Horror film this year? Not counting Alien: Romulus! Good year for Horror!
Is this movie coming to a streaming platform? I really enjoy nicolas cage movies no matter what they are. Cant wait to find out.
It’s coming to theaters first.
This has to be good...
Nick Cages only problem is that he acts too hard too often. He’s genuinely extremely talented as an actor. When you get over the novelty of him being in a movie because of his meme status, there’s not a single character he’s ever played where you can say he wasn’t fully engrossed and believable as a character. He gives 500% every role no matter what, and yeah some can say it’s because he has to pay off his debts, but when you consider other “actors/actresses” who are more worried about their image (I’m thinking the rock) than actual ACTING, he shines as an actual genius of his craft. If you look at his filmography he has many turds, but these are almost never due to him. They are due to his story. If he’s given gold to work with, he will return you Diamonds. In this sense he’s one of the truest “Actors” out there. Seriously people need to wake up to his talent.
Mr.H looks cool 😎
Mandy was Mr Cages greatest performances.
“ Joe” was a good Nic Cage film.
I'll wait a bit....I like nic, but remember: for every "willy's wonderland" there's a "wicker man". (How'd it get BURNED?!?) 😅
Do you. But there is nothing seen or said yet that portends this movie will be anything but awesome..
@@77Creation I appreciate your faith. I hope it is so. But I've been so disappointed by movies I'll wait to see
I think they should cast Nicholas Cage for a Psycho Goreman sequel would fit perfectly.
He had a massive bill to pay to the mafia too 😂
I doubt it's more horrific than The Coffee Table.
Easily my favourite horror of the last 10yrs.
Joe was really good the Friday nights of Freddie's he was in was good Ren was good
You didn't like Mandy? I adore that film it's up there with Pig for me
Massiv Talent was surprisigly entertaining
I love nicolas cage😅 granted some of his films have been dog shit but the dude is an awesome actor in the right roles
And no "the message"
Nicolas cage as been in about 7 good films the rest as been very low budget i understand that he do any film on the cheap to pay back his tax's but i would like him now to be in big action pack films. His best films are Face off Conair The rock and National treasure films. I would like him to be in the new upcoming film 28 years later and play a main part in the film
Budget isn’t everything. See: Madam Web or The Marvels.
@@77Creation No that's what you call waste of money bad cgi and story with poor acting another example would be Godzilla minus 1 good cgi done on the cheap good acting and story so yes budget isn't everything but your going to need a very good team and actors and writers to pull it off. Marvel got greedy to make as much as they can and quality suffered along with writing and so was the love and care that marvel had back when they first started the franches. They got lazy and seems like they just didn't care anymore money was there first priority greed took over like with any other company when there on a roll
I love anything Nic Cage related
Good Lord Mr H is hot in that new haircut.
I love you ❤
Nefarious
I am going to skip the trailer and just go see it. Cage has been in so many bangers that I am perfectly fine going in blind! Thanks for the info.
Gotta say the trailers are excellent because they give nothing away but atmosphere.
Cage also needs to stop getting married and divorced all the time. That’s a money pit.
Dayum, you're hot. I realize this is absolutely irrelevant but I felt the need to say it anyways. Viva la Nicholas Cage!
So are they calling it horror? I mean, absolutely that makes sense as well
I just was thinking that it may be more akin to the genre of thriller-as in Se7en
Cause that’s what this looks like, Se7en on sick, demented steroids
Either way, I cannot wait
Cause it looks potentially like one of the most twisted & bleak films to come not “just this year”-but maybe ever
(No no, I’m not including movies that are gore porn-most part any director can make that nonsense & I don’t care about it-
-unless there was a genuinely good plot behind it as well)
Either way, loved Late Night w/the Devil but now that has passed…I’ve felt like a kid before Christmas gifts for Long Legs
This movie has way more blood and gore whereas all of Se7en’s kills were off screen. It’s a Horror Thiller, definitely.
@@77Creation yeah now that’s a “better fit”
-a horror thriller (u know, so simple I don’t know why I didn’t think of that)
Agreed-man I’m frickin giddy about this film lol
It will bomb cause it has a female lead and so will the new alien film
Maika Monroe? Bout time she came back amongst these skinjobs we have now. She’s great.
Pig is a great film
I can’t stand Nicolas Coppola. I like plenty of movies he’s in, just not him lol. I realize Nick Cage is a star and people love him. I understand why he appeals to many people. It just doesn’t click with me. I just don’t find anything relatable in his performances. There’s always an affect. Difficult to explain, but I always feel like he’s way past over the top in some mannerisms or emoting in practically every role and it puts me off. That and I’m still trying to figure out what accent he’s supposed to be doing in Con Air lol.
