I have heard SO many versions of this show, live and recorded, and I really think that my all time favourite moment vocally is Anthony Warlow singing "let others RIIIIIIISE to take our place....". Gives me chills every time!!

I had the enormous privilege of seeing the great Anthony Warlow in an Arcadians production (Wollongong) - my aunt was the lead violinist - he was an adolescent at the time - my parents both said he would go along way and indeed he did - watching this and reminiscing - have seen him many times since - sadly my mother never did

Yeah, I first discovered him (along with the CSR) when I heard the clip from Stage by Stage. First I found out who was singing (Anthony hehe) and then I hunted down a copy of the CSR and bought it the second I found it. (lol favorite musical + favorite stage actor + favorite album of favorite musical = awesome!)
The funny thing is, his hair is naturally blonde. I don't know why they had him in a black wig. Probably someone already answered that in one of the comments.
Though I prefer Michael Maguire as Enjolras, I was greatly impressed by Warlows let others RIIIIIIISE to take our place!!!. Amazing, nobody could sing it better! Nevertheless, I dislike his until the earth is FREE!!!, it sounds too harsh, imho.
Voted it down because of the outrageous fireworks display as if war and especially a need to revolt is a celebration ! And yes, Warlow is the best so far, but he is also dimming and is all we have until someone equal to or greater than comes along to outshine him.
well for one that strange man whos singing at the start isnt singing properly to begin with if he was he wouldn't be lifting his shoulders to breathe each time..sing from the Diaphragm people diaphragm!!
