In my view Anthony is at the top of his game with one of the best voices currently singing anywhere. His voice has matured with the right timbre to make the lyrics believable. Love the man. Just wish he released more music.
I’ll never comprehend how this man took that long to make his Broadway debut in a role that CRIMINALLY underused him...you have actor extraordinaire, Anthony “cords of steel” Warlow at your disposal and you cast him as Oliver Warbucks, a role not known for much. This man really deserves to do the full J and H, it’s one of the most overdue things in the musical theatre world...
David Bucknell In Concert. That’s why I said FULL J and H. Don’t get me wrong, the fact the concert version is happening is great, but the man has been asked more than once in interviews whether/when he’ll do a fully staged production of it. Those interviewers know what’s up. I’d say revive it again and use him...I can’t see how it would go wrong this time, everyone in the MT world knows him doing this full role staged to perfection needed to happen YESTERDAY.
I absolutely and totally agree! The very small and unworthy role he finally got in "Annie"to me was a insult to this great talented artist. Great talent has always never been appreciated by the masses. It takes a certain amount of culture and not to mention intelligence for people to understand and appreciate a great talent. Today, people mostly are only interested in singers like Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, and most of all rapp etc. (Which is absolutely not music but loud jungle type chanting which only has rhythm with a constant steady beat.) Oh well, to each his own.🙄😳🥺
@@jenniferhiemstra5228 concert? The only thing that made it a concert was the orchestra were visible. The performers were fully costumed, there was a proper set, and the cast were acting in character through out. It was a phenomenal night at the theatre.

I am SO thankful they did a symphonic recording of the Alley Theatre production of Jekyll and Hyde prior to B'way with Mr. Warlow playing Jekyll/Hyde. I was thankful to get to see him in Annie even though, as others have said, he was very underused but he was REALLY good.
