Great session Caner! Thanks a lot for all those hints. For me Guys, the most important thing on the day of the interview is to be relaxed and calm. And at the same time have confidence in yourself. What you never have to do is go to an interview thinking that you should get that position no matter what. You may be struggling financially, or you may want to work for that specific Company, but you should never, ever go into an interview thinking you have to do everything you can to get that job. I always think that if it's not for me, it means they don't deserve me and there will always be new opportunities in more places. On the other hand, if you go to an interview calm, with confidence in yourself and show yourself as you are and relate to and behave as you are in your personal life, they will surely give you the job. So my advice is that on the day of the interview, behave normally, be calm, be yourself and, above all, don't get overwhelmed thinking that you need that job. If it is not that one, it will be another one in another great place ;-)

From personal experience, this information is perfect. I had an airline interview, was not hired, then went to an interview prep course and was hired by another airline. Turned out to be one of those blessing in disguise things. Point is I was asked a, "tell me about a time " type question and gave an unsatisfactory answer. The prep course asked me the same question, corrected my answer and when a different airline asked me the same question again, I did not flub it up.

Hi Caner, thanks for these great suggestions to help someone applying for a pilot job to be successful and stand apart from others applying to the same opportunity. I am not a pilot but I thought that a majority of what was said would be helpful in any industry or particular job that a candidate is applying for. I thought you did a great job of connecting with your viewers with many helpful hints and observations that you learned along the way. Offering your help to potential job candidates was a great and encouraging way to end the video.

Capt as you have been in United Airlines for the past 3 months. Will you start the pilots talk show like you had in Emirates.
How the culture is different in United Airlines to Emirates airlines, how much hike you got in salary or other services provided by Emirates. You are having more expenses in USA or Dubai or in other words you where are you saving more ????
