- Is Kenya Airways truly the Pride of Africa? Today we are flying from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi Kenya to beautiful Mauritius Island thanks to our friends at Bonfire Adventures who was able to upgrade us from Economy Class to Business Class last minute!

We had just enough time to quickly go to the Pride lounge before boarding our flight, for a quick bite and a look around. Overall a nice looking Business Class Lounge and the food was pretty good as well.
Let me tell you that Tracey was extremely excited about boarding the Boeing 787-8 and heading left, straight to business class, her first time ever in the front of the plane. And let's say that she was not disappointed. From the food to the general comfort and of course the outstanding cabin crew, this flight was NOT long enough!!!

It was offered to us via the travel agency.
Their service is just the best 👌 you can not compare KQ to any other official airline of whichever other country in Africa. They are 2nd to none!

I took Kenya airways. my experience was not good at all. for sure they are not the best in Africa what are you talking about? their airplanes are very old, their IFE are not working, they also give very small food lol may be their FA are good. I am wondering why their ticket is expensive. they need to do more to be the best even for me they are very behind South African airways and air maroc.

How much was the upgraded price for business?
That was a long time ago but we did it again to go to South Africa from Nairobi and we paid $135usd a person for the upgrade.

Hi guys!! I just wanted to say thank you for all your videos!!! They were super helpful for me and my husband's first trip to Kenya, and now our second one is under way for next year. We're staying 3 nights at Lewa Safari camp, thanks in part to your amazing video. You always get back to me with questions, ( I asked about a personal vehicle in Lewa, and you wrote back to me like the next day, BTW, you don't get one, it's $488 / day for a private vehicle which we TOTALLY booked!!) You are literally the only ones with an amazing video for Kenya airways, which we are going to fly direct from JFK, to NBO, business class!!! Thanks Also for the tip about the pride lounge!!! We went to the other SMALL lounge last time, and it was packed, and tiny!!! I guess my point is, you truly have been so helpful in planning both of our trips, keep the videos coming, and this 52 year old lady will keep traveling!!! You have to experience others!! You will then learn to appreciate. No airline is perfect and believe you me KQ is not the worst. Ever wondered why it wins many top travel awards?
Don't get me wrong, airlines like Emirates and Qatar are for sure the best in the world but KQ when compared to most popular African airlines line Ethiopian especially, I do think they are much better.

The worst in Africa. I lost my goods worth over 3 million francs at their terminal in Guangzhou in 2019 because they practically refused to carry my extra kilos which i had already paid for in their office in Cameroon before taking off.

Kenya airways is the pride of Africa🔥🔥🔥 I won’t reccommend Ethiopian airways to anyone it’s the worse trip you can have bad at handling baggage if you don’t loose a bag then you will find the seat booked twice.

I’ve flown KQ business a few times on long haul flights and I have to say it’s great, especially the service. However economy is whoa! Don’t even go there

What you are seeing is paid advertisement. Kenyan Airways is 87 in the top 100 airlines in the world. ETHIOPIAN is 26, which is better than United airlines, American airlines, Canada Air, Saudi airlines and other big airlines. Show some respect and leave ethiopian out of your future vedios. You can not build an airline based on lies. And what ever you do, you can't save Kenya Airways.
OK so first, we were never paid by KQ (I wish loll) Second, I only document my experiences and I had a better experience on KQ than ET. I do agree that most north American airlines are bad. Only the Middle East truly do it right!
Kenya Airways is the basic of business class. Their lounge in Kenya is very poor maintained and full of mosquitos. Nice advertising video but remember people this is a advertisement not a honest review.
Here's the thing, we always adjust our review with the market. If KQ as good as Qatar Airways and Emirates? NO, is better than Ethiopian Airlines, Rwanda Air and Uganda Airways? YES.
We truly think that within the African market, KQ is really good.
