Tiny houses were built to help people who can’t afford a house. Then people that have money glorify them and make them unaffordable for low income people.
Well... Can't really say that's an Amish deal. You see, I got my 16 X 34 Amish cabin (with loft) for just under $48,000! I went directly to the Amish builder and cut out you, the middleman, lol!! Best deal ever!!
I have my property. But I need to figure out how to finance my home. And 75k is to high for me. Need size 10 x 20 at least. Doesn't have to be the wood. Can you reply back to me please???
I love the way Randy explained that the window is built as a bay window but that you can also have a picture window. Like what is on this one. Its a beautiful home but I agree that for me a downstairs bedroom would be better. I love the wood and how its stained outside. And its Amish built, you can't beat that!!
omg I so love this model. Agree, the black windows would look gorgeous on this one and a small black fire place inside, ha. So cozy and homey. I'm working hard to figure out some funds and land. Thank you guys, love seeing pups...
It's a nice home, decent price. My concern would be with the low ceiling in the loft. Randy, isn't that tall when he was sitting on the floor, there wasn't much head room. If you have a six inch form mattress, most adults would hit their heads if they sat up in bed.
LOVE this layout, and the storage! 79,900 is really reasonable, considering all the attention to detail in the construction and storage. Great, open feeling in the living space, and I love that concept if the stain reflecting heat (my worst enemy!) If I were a single person alone, (and had the money) I'd be writing a check right now! Oh, and btw....I think Ace was a little jealous that Daddy was holding George's leash in the beginning. He was being a gentleman about it (lol), but I think that's why he was slow in coming when Randy called. I still smile every time I think about how Ace trotted up the stairs yesterday to show George the way down them.❤❤❤😊
Watched you guys for a long time love your homes especially the Woody. I design small homes. Might be good to move the stove on the other side of the sink and have it next to the fridge? Would leave a nice clean open counter in the living area. Keep up the great work and God bless all of you there.
I love the lay out of this little house, I like where the door comes in, and the bathroom is right there, this house is the same style of the barbie house you just did. I love it, its beautiful ❤
❤❤❤you both. THE REASON ITS NOT SELLING MORE IS BECAUSE, CLOSET BY BATHROOM, TURN FROM KITCHEN TO BATHROOM. A LARGE CLOSET WITH SHELVES AND NEED A FOOT HIGHER IN LOFT. THAT WAY YOU CAN SIT ON A MATTRESS. THE WAY IT IS RETIREES WANT A THICK MATTRESS. EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT. YOU COULD FIX THOSE PROBLEMS RAISE PRICE 5,000. TO 80 THO. AND I THINK THEY WOULD SELL. LOVE ALL YOUR IDEAS, BUT TWEEK THIS ONE. ❤😊😊😊
🎉🎂HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY RANDY🎉🍾🎈 sure your a fine strap of a lad God bless you. Amanda keep an eye on him he's ageing backwards 😂😂😂Major love and hugs to you both . 🇮🇪☘💚💚💚
Beautiful home, but why not put the washer/dryer in that closet to the left of the pantry and leave the living room closet as a coat closet? That seems to make more sense to me. Otherwise its a beauty.
Its a great window but needs to open for air circulation. I dont mind the sides because you ca put shelves to put books or plants or anything...is extra storage opportunity to me. I like the window just need it to open...
Love this warm & down to earth model. And the loft with all its light & windows. Reminds me of a tree house we built as kids, in the woods, from all kinds of found odds & ends. Only not as nice looking as this structure. GBtAmish 😊❤
Ilove this home not white only inside interior polyurethane and you included that in this price so we don’t have to do it because we love the wood look only because it makes it have the cabin look 👀 so gorgeous
Don't forget people it's 75k for this home plus 30k to place it on one of their lots and the monthly lot fee. I didn't hear them mention the cost for it going on one their lots. MMMM😢😢
The BEST design. Thank you for being so aware of people's storage needs. Myself, I would add an opening at the landing and go out 8-10 feet' on the back side of the stairs for a bedroom, to accomodate one floor living.
ITH...please answer...Can you build that on a drop axel trailer to get more height? Almost standing upstairs might expand customer base. ( more two people living)
Randy if you put a mattress you would have to crawl onto bed,you could not sit up Why not take stairs out take six feet from living area and make bed only down stairs, also put small hand basin move the toilet a fraction would be easier to get to closet, just a suggestion love ith❤
90 days is the build time. Yes, there is a wait before they can start your build, because they are building homes for the people who ordered before you.
The Detroit container and the Woody are my favorite. I wish the Woody's roof was just another 1 or 2 foot higher or maybe the ceiling would be a lil pointy in the center so I'd have more clearance.. If that makes sense 😂.
I went on the website and saw the big price increase and was disappointed. Would you sell the Woody at a lower price if I wanted to do the polyurethane myself, and leave out the finished pantry, and I'd do that myself?
@@pamlarsen2809 last summer and fall, the Woody was $59,900. He said it was a DIY. That's what I was talking about. The pantry wasn't finished out with shelves & doors, but had the opening. The barn door was there, as was the hook up for W/D in the front room. It wasn't polyurethaned inside or stained outside.
I really like this home but the loft does not have enough clearance at all. Randy's head is almost touching the ceiling and he isn't even sitting on a mattress. This would be a real concern.
Real nice house. I still want an 8 x 24 incredibox. The Spring Special model. I have the money but I have No place to put it out west. I still have sell stuff off and sell the house I have before I can find some land out west and order a house from you guys.
Since the clientele for ITH seems to skew towards people 50+, I would move away from the loft design. Imagine changing the bedsheet and sweeping/ vacuuming the loft once a week in a tight space while crouching down on your old folk knees. Nope.
DOT here in the US requires no taller than 13'6", so that's the height these must be to be certified. You need the certification for it to be insurable. The only way to add height taller than 13'6" and still be certified is to build it onsite and leave it there. Most people want the option to be able to move it.
I really do like the layout of this. However, having arthritis, the stairs, and the loft are both not good options for me. I am pretty much only able to look at either container homes or the one single level you have that I can't remember the name of. I really wish I were able to get one now. Thank you for all the things you are doing to stay affordable. ❤😊
For the upper living/sleeping space, can the open design for the airflow be protected in some way to prevent an animal or a person from falling off/ rolling onto the 1st floor? It seems like an area to me that could pose a hazard. Amazing design!!!
I believe the Woody is your best 10x24 design and the new RJO 8x24 with the double dormers/stairs is your best 8ft design. Y'all should give it a name! Will Y'all be adding it to your line up? I would like to see one on the sales lot and seeing a regular price! Will the new lower priced steel panels reduce the overall price? Thanks for all Y'all do!
Frame height of trailer makes an impractical loft ceiling height. Try looking at low boy designs with air bag suspensions that drop the trailer during travel as this could give you a foot of ceiling. Yes there is floor space for a king size mattress but king mattress height makes it so you sleep with your nose to the ceiling. Better design would be stairs beginning in living room where closets are which gives you stair top at peak and you could still tuck fridge or water heater under stairs which would put pantry beside sink instead of fridge AND give you a mudroom entry and coat area / closet where your stairs are now. This galley kitchen is too crowded... would live to see a design that reflects how people actually live... kitchen and living room in one space: no galley! This kitchen does not allow anyone trying to grow food a place to work and it's galley design is part of that flaw
Why do people always say that like you can’t get that EVERYWHERE. Some places you may, but for a lot of people a house in a bad neighborhood will cost them $150,000. A decent neighborhood more and a very nice neighborhood MUCH more. If you can get a home for $70,000 where you live in a good neighborhood, go for it. But some people aren’t that lucky.
Just wondering why you dont flip the Washer /Dryer space around, so that its accessable from the bathroom, and leave the living room closet for clothes or coats etc. Unless it's too tight of a space with the toilet. Awesome looking home.
The toilet would have to be removed, and then reinstalled to get a stackable W/D in on the bathroom side, AND you couldn't have a combo W/D there because there's no room for the door to open (toilet too close). He's explained this in several videos. You can use that space for a full height closet instead, or shelves below and a hanging clothes rod above.
I love the exterior. Can you build one without the loft? How big of a change would it be? Maybe flip the floorplan so the living room has a high ceiling. And everything else in the lower section.
No. It's built to tiny house building codes. The main floor kitchen and bath ceiling is already as low as allowed by code. That's why the loft ceiling slopes up. It's lowest at the top of the stairs, then slopes up towards the living room.
If I buy this with the black windows and doors and a barn door over the area for the washer and dryer - lattice work over the open loft along with the black window bay window - how much would it cost AND do You have an area in The Forest or the Mountain to put it and how much per month?? Thanks in advance for your assistance!!!
Great house. I like the unique roofline but it makes the loft unusable for lots of us that are taller than Randy. Add a mattress and you would be hitting the ceiling, even in the highest point. When he is sitting over by the windows he opened, he still only had about 3 inches. I went back and looked at the video of the Luanne and with a regular gable roof with dormers, she has a lot more head room. Her house is longer but that staircase on the end could work the same as hers with a gable roof. It also would open up that space over the washer dryer closet which just seems a bit odd. I would like to hear the height measurements in all areas of that loft. For now I am rethinking the Luanne even though I don't need the extra length, jusf the extra height.

That's the lowest point of the loft ceiling... the roof is higher as it slopes up towards the living room end.
I would like to see a Matress in there just to see what the actual head room is like. I am curious.

Yes! I agree, I just want a move in ready home. 💜. So glad to see a bathroom sink and door! Looks great!
Buyer beware if you choose to purchase from them. Do your research and have a lawyer check any paperwork.
Curious what makes you say this- did you have a bad experience?

Good afternoon from Syracuse NY Randy and Amanda and I love seeing all the different incredible tiny homes
Staten Island ! Here
Syracuse NY my friend
Hi my friend and they are not all the same they are different sizes and different colors and different shapes my friend
Beautiful home I am still praying one day I may buy one of your amazing homes.

Been itching to move to Newport, Tennessee 🥰
Where is the air exchanger that is suppose to be in all models?
Does this model have an air exchanger
What an appropriate name!
Randy and Amanda, The Woody Tiny home is beautiful. I forgot about the Woody.

I would like to see storage drawers built under the bay window.
You can't put storage there. Look at the window from the outside of the house. Under the window is outside the house.

90 days!!! Yeah right! I've been waiting 7 months for my Woody and they haven't even started building it yet. It's been so frustrating.
90 days is the build time. Yes, there is a wait before they can start your build, because they are building homes for the people who ordered before you.

So are. you saying that if you don't put it on their land the build takes longer?

How do you get a king size mattress moved into that loft?
Oh this on is really nice.
QUALITY is one of our strong points!!! BEAUTIFUL home!!!❤❤❤❤

I love it all, I’m claustrophobic, so the loft might not be where I’d sleep, but I love those windows ❤
still love that WOODY! looks great finished. Who is the new doggy?
Amanda’s dog I think his name is George🤗
Love the woody!!🥰

Amanda, like the natural nails.
The hidden person making comments is very distracting. She should hold the camera and let him talk. He has the better voice for narrating.
