13:50 actually it's the same jersey, logo everything as when they were in Kootenay. They moved from Kootenay to Winnipeg in 2019. So not a intentional nod to the Jets but still a cool coincidence.
Out of fairness to SC, they went with those colours when the Canucks were yellow, orange and black.
re: Portland...up until very recently they had a logo that was nearly identical to the Blackhawks, so this is a step up.
The red on the Vancouver Giant sweater is consistent. It the red on the Canadian flag. The picture just make the shoulder and body look different
I liked the old moose jaw logo
I lived in Moose Jaw. Everyone liked the old logo but wokeness caught up with them. Now they have a Snowbird on the front. What does that have to do with a warrior. Change the name to match the logo.
As a Portland fan I get where you’re coming from and I totally respect that. But the reason it’s like that is because they received the old blackhawks jerseys in their early years. Their black alternates are my favorites

I actually like their newer logo. Gives them a bit more individuality. I also noticed the subtle addition of the mountains on the bottom of the logo. Nicely done.

I first like all teams in the who is a good and some aren't but for the Cougars Jersey I like a different logo and same to some of the others great video

Growing up with the WHL, I miss the old Saskatoon Blades brand. The navy and light blue with the grey and white, and the skate blade logo. It was unique, it was recognizable, and most importantly it looked great on the jerseys. I'm a Hitmen fan, but I was heartbroken when they switched to the retro brand, and came out with the Penguins template jerseys.
Talking about the Hitmen jersey and saying where does the brown come from? The brown is in the logo. It's after the red outline and in the brow of the mask.
Winnipeg jersey is actually a copy of the LA Kings but with different colors

I have a white Royals jersey, and am Australian. I say a guy at work once wearing a white Hitmen jersey too! The WHL has spread its influence far and wide!
Calgary should put their logo on Moosejaws jersey and vice-versa.

Sad to see my local tricity Americans so low. But their throwback/alternate American flag jersey is an all time classic in my opinion
I have the Americans jersey with the eagle head on it ! For the early 2000’s. And old school blazers and also a couple Tacoma rockets before they moved to galowna

I think the atomic night jersey is the coolest, not for a permanent change but one night a year is great
They need to bring back the red jersey they used to wear on sundays before covid happend also they need to bring back the eagle head
The Hitmen logo on the dark jersey is their secondary logo. The logo on the front of their white jersey is their primary logo, and has a lot more going on. But, I appreciate you doing a WHL jersey ranking.
Royals jersey is exactly the type of branding Tampa Bay needs for the lightning. They could keep the current logo and shoulder patches. Just change your striping and reintroduce black and silver into the color pallete

I think that's what they used for the alternate "BOLTS" jersey, that's the first thing I noticed.

Suggestion do the whl alternate one most team don’t have one but a lot do and it will be a really hard raking bc there’s so much detail in them my fave for both this vid was that pats and for the alternate is prob also the pats but plz do it
Calgary used to have pink as an accent colour in their jerseys, I believe in a nod to Brett Hart. I like their current jerseys, but it would be cool to see them go back to pink. So unique and they made it look pretty badass

The Royals jersey image you have is really outdated, their current version of that jersey has removed the stripes under the arms and down the sides, it looks 100x better

Ngl im kinda sad we arnt really the warriors anymore like i get the snow birds are cool and all but when u live were the moose is the biggest i remember the moose but the warrior which makes sense bc were on treaty 12 or 4 territory it makes sense

Portland’s new logo is awesome in my opinion! The moved on from the Chief head that was similar to the Blackhawks, and the new logo did not disappoint!
The Rockets logo makes no sense. The team is called the Rockets but you have a cartoon Ogopogo as the logo on the jersey. This seems pretty dumb.
Why do the Canadians spell center wrong.
The Royals jersey is just about the same template as the Lightnings 3rd with BOLTS on the front

as a Vancouverite the Giants are among my favorites I recall back when they did a survey do choose the colour for the jersey I think the design was decided just not the colour there was this red seen here and a green one and a blue one. I think the green was and likely would still be my fav but i like the red too
The Kootenay Ice lost their brand when they moved to Winnipeg, unfortunately they’re basically the LA Kings just with baby blue
And very cleverly the word ICE is in the beard of the Sasquatch logo
As a Brandon fan the New Jersey’s they have with the wheat at the bottom are a Tribute and a modern version of their mid 2000s that had the wheat all down the arms and bottom.

So many great jerseys and logos. My only critique is I hate how a majority of the teams use a good logo and then mess up the jersey with text under it. Most could get away without it and maybe use it as a shoulder patch.

The Rockets logo looks like the dragon from quest for Camelot!
It's similar to the San Antonio Dragons logo, who didn't last very long.

I got to disagree with you on the rockets, I think the teal and red is one of the best colors in the whl and I want an nhl team to rebrand with that at some point
Also I think you are heavily underestimating how much connor bedard has influenced the pats influence,most people only recognize the jersey because of him

...Ahem...I've been a season ticket holder for the Tigers since 2002 and I was today years old before I realized that they were a colour swap of the Flyers, though I also feel we wouldn't be saying that if they used a colour other than orange. Definitely an old school brand in need of an update... which would not fly with many of our fans (very Detroit-esque, plus a lot of them are crotchety old people who hate change). I feel both home and away still look good despite their more "classic" look. They tried to modernize a bit in the early 2000s and came out with a pug-fugly home and away jersey set that lasted only a couple of years (look up Medicine Hat Tigers flying tiger jersey). I heard the official reason they stopped using them was because the ownership didn't register the trademark or something but it honestly could've been because of a poor approval rating.
Despite the lack of their "own brand" I have to say that Tri City's darks look REALLY good in person.
If you get a chance, check out Swift Current's new alternate jersey. It's incredible.

The ICE jersey that you showed was a Kootenay ICE jersey. I know that because the tongue is orange and not red like it is now in Winnipeg. There’s also no intentional shoutout to the Winnipeg Jets because the jerseys were made in Kootenay two years before moving to Winnipeg. Anyways since I’m a biased Winnipeg ICE fan I think the ICE jerseys are by far the nicest jerseys in all of hockey followed by the Jets Heritage jerseys from 2016!

Just a note for branding. Love the Victoria Royals as it’s my home team but it was absolutely ripped off the blue Reebok Tampa bay “bolts” jersey.
Yeah, I didn't really take that into consideration because it being an alt jersey that was not widely worn. Not like a home or an away that we see all the time.

I didn't consider alt NHL jerseys because they were not widely worn.
Calgary should use Bret "Hitman" Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhardt and Owen "King Of Harts" Hart pink black and white and silver color scheme and not detract from that at all

As a Hitmen fan, the current home and aways are the best in the team's history after we moved from the Bret Hart pink and grey era. But Neil, if you look closely at the mask, either on the jersey or as a logo, there is a copper stripe on the inside of the thick red one. It's very subtle on the logo, but on the jersey it's easy to point out cause CCM made it that shiny flake material that the Vegas and LA alts have.

I've only reached the Tri-City jersey, and you mention how it's basically Columbus, but wouldn't you say that Tri-City were long before the Bluejackets? TC shouldn't change because of that. Just my opinion.
