Biggest fanbase will get the clicks, which is what he was going for. The sad part is, the Leafs comeback had nothing to do with Matthews, who was on the thumbnail
I didn't remember the Leafs blowing the 5-0 lead against the Blues because I was a still a child, but they still did good in that season and still made2 rounds of the playoffs that year. I'll never forget watching them on TSN on weeknights, CBC on Saturday nights & CTV Toronto during Christmas that year.
That was the year we all thought the Leafs were toast. They fell apart in the 2nd half of the season and couldn't beat Ottawa in the regular season. And then Mats Sundin scored in overtime against the Sens and they ended up sweeping them!
For those who DON'T know or realize how GREAT Peter Forsberg truly was, check out 14:05, the Colorado Avalanche comeback vs the Florida Panthers in 1999. Forsberg single handedly got the Avs back in the game and had some epic goals in that game
Was at the Rangers stadium series game against the Islanders this year. That comeback they had was awesome (speaking of comebacks). Probably the best game I've ever attended personally.
I can’t wait to see Zub fly out of the penalty box in his first game, dangle Andersen and proceed to kick off one of the finest leafs chokes of my lifetime
@@estilkind no because they choked this game and it was very funny because the sens were very bad and the leafs were supposed to dominate the northern division easily

Sad this team could never get a cup for him before he passed away....but hopefullly one day this team will win a cup.....Gonna be so mad if I die before that happens......but then again how the heck will I know lol :D
During Colorado's comeback. Pavel Bure got injured, and the Panthers had no push back against the Avs once they started their comeback. Specifically no Bure to answer Forsberg.
The fact that the Leafs have 4 of all the blown leads in this video (the most of any team; I counted), and yet their own comeback was against Boston, is storybook.
When it's the Oilers' turn in the video, I thought I would see their comeback from the 7-2 deficit against the Kings. Too bad there's only the box score to show. I have been looking for footage of that game for years, but no luck, not even highlights. I watched that game live on an obscure Los Angeles OTA channel in 1985. That's the last time I watched it. This classic is a collector's item.
I was listening to that Caps-Rangers game on the radio. When the Rangers scored the late goal, I had a sinking feeling they would pull off the victory.
The comebacks vs the Canadiens on April 15 *and* 16 were better, and also Kane's return to Chicago was definitely more "iconic" than the Griddy... but yeah it was fun to watch.
I kinda thought maybe the two Montreal games Detroit played in the last 2 games of the 2024 season were a lot more entertaining and electrifying,i did not expect them to come back and tie it .but i liked the won against Pittsburgh too don’t get me wrong,i just think with 2024 being a fun season for us redwings fans it was probably more entertaining
Winnipeg vs Toronto, laine vs Matthew’s. Being down 4-0 half way through 60 mins. On home ice and laine with the game tying goal as well as the hat trick for the game winner. That comeback is definitely a honourable mention for the jets
I just realized I was there to watch the Kraken comeback, I was so sick though so I wasn’t able to even get out of my stick, was trying not to fall asleep
For some reason the song that played for the Devils segment reminded me of that 100-lap Random All Broughy did, largely thanks to someone named 'curbcharging' who donated 1000 partway through.
8:15 I was at that game. The pain in the arena was palpable. I think that was the moment the fans started to turn on Elvis. Tarasov was doing an excellent job until he got hurt, and then Elvis comes in and allows four goals on eight shots. That's a beer league showing from our supposedly #1 goalie. Odds are he'd have been shown the door years ago had Jarmo not signed him to such a godawful contract that absolutely no one wants.
i THINK THE BIGGEST comeback isnt just the score, its the game itself, and that was Oct 19 2016 WPG vs TOR Laine Hat Trick one of the biggest moments in Jets history
i'd have put the Sharks 4-0 comeback against the kings in the playoffs instead. might've had to settle for a shorter clip but i think it's more noteworthy because it was the playoffs
Confused that they went with Arizona vs Colorado when we scored 6 goals in the third period to blow out the knights with like 12 minutes left in the game down 3-0
The Habs comeback was insane, I was at a bar with friends and we had basically stopped paying attention after the 5-0 goal and next time we looked it was tied. Dhame that it had to be a shootout
Without question that game was much more important than this one for the Sharks, but unfortunately that is not the biggest comeback in Sharks history. Here is the OT winner from Goodrow tho! m.ruclips.net/video/4so8wvZ0BsQ/видео.html

I don’t care how large of a multi goal comeback the Hawks have come back from, 17 Seconds is objectively the biggest as it won them the Stanley Cup.
I know they're a moderately new franchise, but I find it funny that the Kraken's showcase is a 2 goal comeback.
I mean the blujackets are 23 years old now and theirs is only 3 goals lol.
Its how the kraken rolls. It always seems they start slacking in the first and then comeback in the 2nd and 3rd

The Blues Came back 5 in one period and won before shootout. That's the best one.
But the Rangers comeback was more impressive. 6-1 Washington -----> 8-6 Rangers 😮
Always the most satisfying when the comebacks are on home ice.
Fitting how both the King's and Oiler's biggest comebacks were against each other.
