4:11 Dude, you got it wrong again! Godzilla vs Frankenstein was considered AFTER King Kong vs Godzilla! Don't you remember the reissue review we wrote together? Also, once again, his name is pronounced "Here-oh-say", not High-Ros! Also, also, Hirose did NOT play MechaniKong! We went through this already in the reissue video!!
That's right. It was written in 1964. It was brought to Toho by Henry Saperstein. While it didn't get made (Toho made Mothra vs Godzilla and Ghidorah that year instead) it was revived the following year and produced as Frankenstein vs Baragon with Baragon replacing Godzilla. I think some people are confusing it with the aborted Frankenstein meets The Human Vapour from 1961.
Hey Jack, you made an error at 10:12, (Shoichi Hirose wasn't available during that time of casting) Mecha Kong is played by another suit actor known as Yu Sekita who also portrayed Gorosaurus, Angurius in Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters, Ebirah, Gabara from Godzilla's Revenge, and the brown Gargantua Sanda from another known kaiju movie War of The Gargantuas. Fun facts: did you know that the original 1954 Godzilla had another actor portraying Godzilla (his name is Katsumi Tezuka), his presence is known when "Godzilla" attacks the electrical towers during his surfacing. He's also portrayed other kaiju monsters as well such as Angurius in Godzilla Raids Again and Mothra in her standalone film from 1961. Incidentally, Shoichi (the 1962 King Kong) portrays one of the convicts in Godzilla Raids Again.
I don't know if this is a fact but if you look closely at Kong's hands, when he is digging through the dirt and ice, to get to Element X you can see that there are some sharp metal looking things at the end of his finger tips, now I don't know that is to help Haruo Nakajima with digging out the rocks and ice, or if it was the Armature for the fingers for the extensions, or what, and yes Godzilla's Revenge the US version is bad but the Japanese version is a masterpiece, anywho, great video can't wait for part 3 this was fun.... okay bye.
Cool video, man, it’s always interesting to learn on the behind the scenes of a classic film And the jack black part was really funny😂 so much that it caused a guy in the comments to jump and defend Godzilla when it’s not that big of a deal here. What a Moron..
A wonderful way to celebrate Women’s Day is watch Mothra stuffs, King Kong lives, and if you dare, Queen Kong and actually most Kong movies, because if it wasn’t for the beauties we couldn’t have the beast. Good Women’s Day Kong’s female leads and… oops! actually bought the Konga blu ray a month ago.
Really nice, man. Very very interesting and well done. I had no clue the 62 Kong suit was used in the water scenes for 67.
Glad you liked it!
It's amazing that this stop motion model of Godzilla used 4 that brief shot of him kicking Kong is in good condition.
Jack, we come bearing horrible news. The great Akira Toriyama has gone to see King Kai…
Stop ruining the mood!

I wish I was lucky to see Linda Miller too.
Linda Miller looks good for her age!

Jack Black is funny. Cuz he apparently never watched Godzilla vs Kong and GxK saw how Godzilla bested Kong with ease physically.
King Kong in Japan.
