I love this movie and the sequel King Kong lives.
I agree that Hawaii is the perfect Skull Island.
Good to see the '76 version finally getting some attention. It was the first version I ever saw - and I have a soft spot for it. Is it the best version ? Of Course not, but there's a lot to like about it!

Do U remember Movie Magic Jack? That show was my first exposure to special effects in movies & they even had a special episode dedicated 2 dinosaurs in motion pictures.

I actually don’t find the snake so bad. Although i see there were still technical flaws, that looked better than that thing from King Kong Escapes. And then…, these both universal and paramount projects, time setting and other few stuffs apart, are strikingly similar. Just look at the sacrifice and Kong entry in scene.
The late Franco Columbu, who starred in *"THE TERMINATOR"* (1984) in the minor role of a "Terminator Infiltrator"
- seen in Sarah's dream of "The Future War" - was also set to play Kong in Universal's *"THE LEGEND OF KING KONG"* (with the intention of Columbu wearing a gorilla body suit and his face covered in ape makeup akin to *"Planet of The Apes")*

Will jack and 18 find the kings gauntlet and the infinity bananas? Will they know more about what happened to the props of the 1976 King Kong movie, and its sequel King Kong lives? Will jack ever escape figment? And most importantly will jack ever get that coveted banana scented air freshener freshener for his bathroom? All this and more will be answered with the exception of a few questions in this final part of the quest for the holy Grail, I mean the gauntlet. So tune in same Jack time same Jack hour.

Also I do wish there could be another copy of the king 76 shooting script that have the scene where the snake attacks the search party in it too
U talking about that snake prop in the film now makes me wish that the dinosaurs did make it into that movie. Hell, the snake from Conan the Barbarian was better looking than this snake.
He already explain the reason why the dinosaurs weren’t in this movie in his let’s talk about why the movie sucks
I would mind the snake less if Kong fought more giant animals. Like a giant lion, giant eagles, a giant crocodile & others giants based on living animals to give the whole "modern" vibe the film wound up having.
I agree the other giant from conan the barbarian is a much better snake then the 1976 king kong snake they should go with a guy in a t rex suit including triceratops and brontosaurus
@@asa-punkatsouthvinland7145 yeah maybe like giant wolly rhino,wolly mammoth,mastodon,sabortooth cat smilodon and arsinoitherium,paraceratherium,uintatherium and giant ground sloth,giant crocodiles,giant komodo dragon and giant eagles and vulture and giant cave bear and giant cave lion and it made sense for kong that he is based of a real giant ape called gigantopithecus
@@robertbermudez4526 yes! It also gives those megafauna creatures a chance to shine on screen because usually when we make monsters they're dinosaur based in some way and we don't get a lot of things like wooly rhinos, mammoths, terror birds or saber toothed cats.
That alone might have made the film stand out more and be better remembered.
