240k on my 2016 maxima. Transmission good, engine good, changed spark plugs at 200k, changing serpentine belt at 240k. So far I’ve been happy with it. Windshield driver side is moving up and down a little slower and some of the buttons are sticking down but otherwise this car for the mileage I put in it has done it’s job and still kicking. Hoping to get one more year out of it or 300k miles. Bought it at 33K Mike’s in 2017
@@raul696575 I’m trying to get 300k out of it before thinking of getting a newer Maxima. I love my car though. It’s gotten me everywhere and hope I can get another good two years out of it.
Update: I now have 118K miles and will be changing my CVT fluid next week. I did have a front wheel bearing replaced due to it humming. Not a big deal or expense.
I bought a 09 Maxima sv at 60000 miles back in 2016 I've driven it to 180000 miles and it has served me very well the only thing that has gone out is the AC but I'm going to sell it soon because I upgraded to the 21 Maxima sr and I've only had it for a few days now but I love it!
I got a 2020 sl, bought new. Now has 91k.Have did trans flush every 30k miles. And now will do a trans filter change, as well as coils and plugs. This my 14th nissan and the 11 with a cvt transmission and never experienced a problem with the cvt as long as u service it not neglect it.
Anyone have any clue why a 2016Nissan Maxima SR stalls/idle ? No lights or anything on the dash, but my ac has went out twice since my car has started stalling/ idle . I’ve replaced my ac compressor, belt and the clutch and still having the same problem
This is my 4th and last one. I’ve have a 2008, 2016 Sv, 2018 Platinum and now 2020 SL. The radio display goes out and I have the funny smell from time to time but now the AC Compressor is out! I’m done.
Mine mainly does it when I use the remote start. When the Bluetooth doesn't connect: 1.Turn off the radio. 2.Hold down the menu button and at the same time toggle the volume nob left and right until a new screen comes up. 3.On that new screen hit the back button at the top left. The whole radio should turn off and reset. That normally works for me.
I own a '16 Maxima SV I bought new, now has 109K miles. Not one issue. However, the mileage is not as important as whether or not they changed the CVT fluid every 50-60K miles. That is the Achilles heel of this car (BTW-I'm a mechanical engineer).
@@mitchlu no stay the hell away from it! I have a 2016 maxima sr and the brakes have failed twice and the dealership can’t figure it out so they won’t fix it. I’m dealing with a corporate investigation to handle it but it’s costing me a fortune
@@danielgentry6278 that's a variable valve timing fault. It's "usually" caused by a faulty solenoid valve that controls oil flow to the system that regulates (advances/retards) the camshaft timing in relation to the engine. This has to be checked with a scan tool to verify its operation before just blindly replacing it.

I'm thinking anout buying a maxima, but hearing stories about the cvt is giving me doubts. Thx for the positive outlook.
You should put video of your Maxima with over 200 k miles and what you done so far on maintenance ✅
My Maxima have 292k i change my serpentine at 290k 😩 is runing good. Only ac compressor messed up last week

Any assistance ?
How many miles ur car got, bc idle problems can also be with oil and spark plugs, etc, Ik u have a Nissan so I definitely doubt it’s oil
And sometimes even your electronic system
Check on bad grounding cables. Or alternator not enough voltage

After 14 years of having my 2009 maxima the transmission is starting to jutter 😢

The blind spot system is a $1500 item in CDN, plus 1000 labor to install and program
These are so true except I have no smell in my car…
Can anyone tell my why my gas mileage is poor, I’m having really bad gas mileage like one mile per gallon no lights on the dashboard
Dump a can of sea foam in your gas or some Lucas fuel injector cleaner. This will help clean out junk and she will run better!
My AC does not have power, took it to the shop they told me the car had 13 error codes
Codes numbers ??
16 maxima 104k miles and no major 🦾issues
Yah, great car. Not.
Good one child
They aren't called Trashima for nothing.
