Not only do the British take forever to leave, but then they come back! And just to make sure you REALLY want them gone, they bombard your coastal cities and set fire to your Capitol! And I'm not going to address the way they kidnapped American citizens to serve in their navy! I expect that the Irish know far more about that kind of thing... Yeah, the British have serious issues with leaving and staying left. Though one night at my favourite blues bar there was the cutest couple from Manchester, I believe, she was absolutely mad for the Motown sound and had always wanted to come to Detroit. Well, Lady Champagne Paige gave them the best show they were ever going to see! She even got the woman to stand up and sing along. It was a great night! I do love me some Motown!

@@alicequayle4625 Detroit has plenty of Blues and Soul to go around! They just revamped the Motown Museum. And we still have great artists living here, like Billy Davis, Jr. He wa inducted into The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, The Blues Hall of Fame, and The Doo Wop Hall of Fame. He has mentored a good many artists in his lifetime, including Jimi Hendrix. Come over and see us someday.
