Wow, this contrasted quite a bit with the routine of my coach, he works longer on court hours, sometimes from 5am-9pm, doing admin work from 11-3, though his schedule would be based around humidity levels (we live in Northern Australia and the temperature is pretty consistent throughout the day), great to see an insight into your day
Such hard work. I always think coaching looks tough as it takes your fun hobby and turns it into a job so you can't do the fun bit any longer because you never get to focus on yourself, and you can't risk injury.
Awesome stuff, I love your dedication and hard work! My only suggestion is to up your Sudoku game as that one was a bit easy - You can buy little Sudoku books for a few pound.
I’m also a tennis coach as my full time job. Very interesting incite into somebody of a higher position. Getting home at 8pm though sounds like a dream. Most days my sessions don’t finish until 8 and then the pack up time and long drive home leads to late night finishes. Unfortunately cannot afford to give up the work. Hopefully one day and my fiancé can forgive me for long working days haha
I have worked ridiculous hours for years, but have slowly built up a programme where I can work more hours during the day and have a team of coaches that can share the load. It takes time but it can happen! I’m fortunate to live 15 minutes from the club which also makes a huge difference!
Hi, from the Far East (originally from uk). Full-time coaching a.m. to p.m. 6/7 here in Japan @60yrs old. Not enough rain here tbh and outdoor lessons far too hot in the summer. Would love to have a few more uk-like rainy days tbh to catch up on watching fav RUclips channels like yours and to do some body balance & strengthening work! Meanwhile, keep up the good work!
Never knew you did so much Ash; I see you are careful to eat well. And Marcel is so cute 🙂 Finally I gate crashed the Adult Team Training session part of the video; I love the hour...always great tips to work on; thanks
@@TheTennisMentor Shame there was no video of the last half court demo where I lobbed you and you tweened back a great shot, I volleyed and you drop shopped me. I some how raced up to the net, at my masters age, and scrapped up over. I know it surprised you I reached it. I tried a badminton net block to your shot and it just dropped my side. One of the ladies said to me it was like an exhibition :-)
Love your videos! How do you normally structure your lessons? For example warmup is tuning and stretching then live ball? Into hand feeding drills then racket fed etc. Thanks!
Thanks for the video, this will help me balance my days!
Love your cute sweet doggy 😘 what a sweetheart 🐾 appreciate the videos and taking time to answer questions! 🙏 You're the MAN! Coach!
I’m a little biased, but Marcel is the most incredible dog!!
@@TheTennisMentor ❤️🐕🐾💯

Great video Ashley! And yes I as a coach would love to see more of on court sessions with your students (especially groups).
Thanks Sergio! I will do my best, the important thing is that everyone in the group is happy… some love being on camera and others don’t! 😅
The quality of the filming and editing here was amazing, awesome work! In full agreement about the early rising as well!
Thanks buddy!
You work very hard but you are very well organised. LTA coach of the year I believe? Love Marcel - what a loyal and devoted dog.
You’ve done your research 😉 We’re very lucky to have such a special family member in Marcel!

I’m very fortunate to be able to do what I love! I do miss playing/competing, but I get satisfaction in other ways now!
Inter3sting to watch and get an idea of your day. Thanks for this.
My pleasure!

Was always interested in this, and yes would like to see the on-court sessions. Thank you Ashley.
I will try to film some on court sessions. It’s important that my players are happy… some love the camera and others don’t! 😂
Great video! Would love to see more about the lesson planning and content used in your program if possible?? Cheers 🎾🔥
Hmmm, a felow adidas Baricade lover :) Love them and was glad they re-released them...
Interesting as always, thanks

Wow! I have JUST replaced the milk that I used to add to my cereals for breakfast with kefir! I also believe it is more beneficial than milk!
Kefir for the win!
I'm a tennis instructor but not full time yet
Can you do a recommendation for a diet video
👍
Great video I want to be a tennis coach to thanks.
Let me know if you need any help! 😊
I'll let you know😄
What is cardio tennis?
It’s a fitness based tennis session. Lots of basket drills within a circuit with music… good fun!
This is a fantastic routine...until you have kids. At this point it's over. 🤯😎
I can only imagine!
Oh, your job is not easy at all.
Who wants an easy job??
@@TheTennisMentor Yes you are right. Let me preformulate it "Oh, your job is so hard".
