your stuff does work, I feel it right away, I was pretty skeptical seeing your club advertised on Facebook. but after listening to your interview last year on barbell shrugged, I listened more. Mr. Weck, thank you.
Strength = Ability to hold the weight in a certain position and dense muscles (for muscles). Ability to absorb the impact and density of bones or even an object. Power = Ability to move at a certain speed with a certain mass.
hmmm this has got me thinking. I love the rotations with the rope. We've always been trained to think stabilize you spine under load. so adding rotation under load just seems like a bad idea. You will certainly have more power with the rotation added in but is there risk to your spine? More power is usually good, but for example, I can dead lift more with a rounded back than I can with a neutral flat spine (that is until my spine breaks). I know from experience that dead lifting with a rounded back, though it is more powerful, is not a good idea at all for most of us (there are freaks out there who are bullet proof).
If you increase the weight then you will automatically comes into this position, i have tried it but if you use lighter weights then it will not come naturally. when you increase the weight and make this exercise instead of shoulder press into shoulder Jerk. Because when you are jerking in any exercise, the legs are always involved, you cant jerk without using legs. whether you are doing Overhead Jerk or clean and jerk.

100%
Grest explanation & demo. Including the squared up braced positions afterwards really shows how much more powerful your method is.

Excellent tutorial thanks!
Awesome demonstration!!
Thanks you mestre, gretting from argentina! OSS
will give it a go!
Great lift, especially with the elastic. Curious- why not loop it over the bar outside of the weight? Mine keeps slipping down.
Farm boy strong, finish line fast…. Epic
