Hello Dr idk if you gonna notice my comment or not but i need your suggestion just 4 days back my elbow got dislocated doctor placed it right back in position just like you did and plastered my whole hand he said it should be for 3 weeks My real concern is many people are saying 3 weeks are way too much your hand posture will be in the same way it won't be straight like it was before Also I've shown my x-ray to one ayurvedic person he said one week is enough come to me he has his own ayurvedic medicines you will be fine I'm really confused what to do please sir i need your help Will my hand posture gonna be same like before if i maintain plaster for 3 weeks?
@@dontknow3806 Hello .. as per ur comment Your Elbow Dislocation is reduced and Pop is put .. few things are very important as age of Patient, injury associated with any fracture? , post reduction instability. As elbow dislocation happens by rupturing capsule and surrounding tissue it has to heal to avoid any recurrent dislocation., 2 to 3 weeks of immobilisation is required as per your injury and then need to start Physiotherapy stretching exercises to gain back Elbow movement as normal as possible. Few patients get normal movement and few patients lack of 10degree terminal movement because Elbow tends to become stiff as surrounding tissue heals. It is advisable to discuss with your Ortho doctor as he knows your injury better.

Cause I've heard from others whose bones got dislocated 3 weeks of plaster wasn't really mandatory it got cured with other treatment like i mentioned earlier village ayurvedic treatment and their own natural tree medicine has to be consumed with goat milk idk if you are aware about it...
