can you mix tone on tones with solids?
So if choosing my own fabrics from stash, if I have a dark yellow, do I ned to balance that with a light yellow? Should colors directly need to correspond with each other? Oops, I think you answered that.
You do not need corresponding colors for your lights and darks, unlike the Secret Agent quilt which was a transparency quilt. This is not a transparency quilt. You'll just want to make sure all the fabrics in one group are clearly lighter or darker than those in the second group.
What about yacht rock?
