I saw them in NH last week and love how slipknot let Orbit Culture and Knocked Loose do full set ups and damn near full sets. It was truly like 3 concerts in one.
I don't think I ever got chills as hard as watching their performance of Moss Covers All and Take Me Home back to back. Damn, talk about some absolutely mad light work, it builds such a haunting atmosphere.

As much as i love hardcore and KL, they are bigger than hardcore now, Its not hardcore if youre playing in MSG with barricade etc, It sounds counter intuitive because if its not hardcore to be on the bigstage then how does that help grow the genre? Thats the point hardcore has always been underground 50-100 people to a show DIY venues and merch booths, They are just way bigger than that now.
I got to the Slipknot concert late not thinking these openers were good (past 3 concerts I went to had bad) and when I heard their last 10 minutes from the VIP area I regretted missing them
God , so many phones. I get it, if you're way back there take a video but in the pit!? Lame and sad. Im 38 so I was able to experience concerts without a crazy amount of phones (99-2004ish). I miss those days and I bet sone of these newer bands couldnhave been part of that. Although, I know the underground hardcore/metal scene still has shows like that.
It's music that's all about making a room of losers and dorks throw each other around. If the music sounds like it could do just that, then it achieved its goal. And I'll always be one of the dorks getting thrown around

That snare is locked in. Sound engineer did an incredible job at this venue for this depth and range of music.
How does it sound so good? I kept noticing that too. I saw them in may, and it was genuinely the best sounding live show I’ve ever heard.
