Counting Worms was my first introduction, on Instagram. I'm 44 years old. I watched all of this from start to finish. I have seen my share of 'hardcore' metal bands play live. The first was decades ago. The 'hardcore' genre of metal is a very direct thing. The genre as music is rapid and unrelenting - almost never dipping into a calmness and building from there. I'd say it's better to roil your anger out in an organized way like this - than let it be pent up with no outlet - but if you want to be hardcore - this is who it's done these days

You're probably right mate, not really a fuckup as such, it's more about the fact that he started playing a riff from a song that they're "not allowed to play" because it wasn't released at the time this was filmed. It wasn't always the way. Before the internet and camera phones existed, bands would actually play their new songs weeks before anyone had heard them. Not anymore.@@twopc3705
Just saw them live at Brooklyn Steel on 5/30. I still can't get over the experience of being at a KL show. If you're a fan and have a chance, go see them. It's fucking electric.
