Normally I’m not fond of gold, especially with purple, but that lace looks so perfect - it’s like it was just made to be with the main fabric of the dress! This is so beautiful thank you for sharing 💕
I'm so glad I took a chance on this video when it showed up on my recommended! I'm shocked that something this well produced is from such a small channel. The way you effortlessly did those sleeves was incredibly inspiring to me--they're always something I struggle with a lot. I don't know much about Regency era anything, so maybe this is a really dumb question, but are the princess seams on the back something typical of dress construction of this time or was that a liberty Simplicity took when drafting the pattern? Either way you did an amazing job and I look forward to seeing what you create in the future!
Awe thank you so much! From the few regency patterns and garments I've looked at the princess seams are a staple of the era. I really love Laughing Moon patterns if you're looking to compare. Thank you so much for watching 🥰🩷
I follow Rachel Maksy, So it’s only logical your charming channel showed up on my feed lol I love this type of content and with a bit of humor added, always makes it a must watch. It's Regency and I dont know why it feels Roman, like rich purple clothed people LOL
Hmm never thought about it feeling Roman, but now that you mention it 😅

I totally agree! I'm not a purple person myself, but it all fell together beautifully. Thank you for watching. 🥰
