i just took my exam yesterday and passed with a 682. watched this video a full times (+ your upper body and lower body anatomy ones, 10000% recommend), got pocketprep and went through the official book. thanks so much for putting this video together
@@saneperson101 0. i read/listened to the whole book once and went ham on pocketprep. did all the questions and always tried to nail the how/why on any incorrect question. i also did the practice acsm exam. imo, it was harder than the actual exam but def worth buying bc it was just another method of prep. studied about 2-4 hours a day for 2 months
Literally just finished taking the exam and passed with a 620. I have a degree in exercise science and used this video 2-3 times. Very helpful! Thanks!
Great video my man, the information here was all worth studying and was way more specific than pocket prep that was just 1,000 questions of good information. I used pocket prep the first time, and failed. Came here, went over the info you provided, and passed easily. For the people using pocket prep, make sure you watch this video more than you use that app. It’s easy to memorize answers. But you really need to know the WHY. The exam doesn’t have any questions worded like pocket preps. They will give you a clients entire workout routine, v02 max, assessment numbers and then tell you the client wants to run a 10k, and what you should do to help them. Emphasize of FITT-vp and the part where he says always increase the TIME first. Thanks for the video again man. If I didn’t just spend $200 retaking the exam I’d donate to the channel. Maybe once I get that first client ;)
Hello, I have ADHD and I recently took my online certification exam. Unfortunately, I didn't end up finishing it in time but ended up scoring 440 with over 40 questions unanswered. I hadn't properly prepared myself for the amount of "exercise programming" questions they asked, which really slowed me down. I've been using the Fitness Prep app, but is their anything else I could be doing to get more "client specific questions"?
I'm sorry to hear that you didn't finish. Do you think it would help to take a practice test and use the timer to see if you can improve your pacing for the next time? I’d keep reviewing everything with pocket prep and the chapters in the ACSM book that specifically cover technique. Also, I’d really try to trust your gut when taking the test. If you’re reasonably certain of an answer, make sure you actually answer it and move on. You can always flag some answers and come back and double check them later
It’d be possible to pass that way, sure. Would I recommend doing it that way? No, I wouldn’t. I’d at least skim through the book in addition to that stuff.
I need to pass ACSM from india , i want to buy ACSM CPT 1000 question, how can i buy this, and can i have your mail address or something like that so that i can msg you. Pls help.......
Hello! The thing that has 1,000 questions is the pocket prep app that you can download on your phone. You can do that here: pocketprep.sjv.io/c/2369241/1637839/18999 Hopefully that helps! Keep studying hard! You’ll pass! 💪
Hello... Dear, thanks for your prompt reply, but i wanted to know payment methods ( if any other alternative) and which application shall I download and from where? So that I can buy, and is it auto renewable application?
Here's the Pocketprep link. It's worth it!: pocketprep.sjv.io/c/2369241/1637839/18999

I don’t have any background in exercise science. But I’m an engineer and i can study well. Can i still pass with just this video and pocket prep?
It’d be possible to pass that way, sure. Would I recommend doing it that way? No, I wouldn’t.
I’d at least skim through the book in addition to that stuff.
Is there a specific App or Website that gives you the Par-Q or HHQ with ability to have client fill out online..?
Thanks.!
None that I know of! You can upload forms to Jotform and have clients fill them out that way though
Do you have a study guide video like this for ACE exam?
I do! Here’s part 1 here:
ruclips.net/video/zeGoVIoCCnY/видео.html
Do you have any reviews on Action cpt certification?
I do not but can add that one to my list.
