Thanks, Geoff! One thing I can say from reading the comment section is our hobby has some major black eyes in it. Some people are so nasty in this hobby. We all have our opinions but I find it funny how outrageous some of these people are online, yet if they went to SGC they would probably be in awe of the business they’ve built over the years. We need kids in this hobby so it will last for generations to come, not adults acting like kids.
I BET if SGC offered $20 a card graded, add $5 bucks for sub grades if you want, and fixed their label so it was more aesthetically pleasing they would go from every card being 30% to 35% percent less than PSA to about 15 percent overnight. They are well known in the industry and have been around for over 20 years. Why they continue to sip coffee and think of strategies to improve when it is so obvious is baffling to me.

I feel like SGC's graded cards would skyrocket in the future if ever the hobby of collecting rises constantly in the few years. Also, digging the tuxedo black backdrop from the card, cards really pop out. I will try to get SGC-graded cards in the market, get them for less, hold, and once collectors see the value in SGC that's when you part ways with it happily. Let's go SGC!
WOW! I love the transparency! And transparency builds trust! With grading companies, if we can't trust them then their grades and services mean nothing. But this is ground breaking! I feel like I can really trust SGC more now.

They didn’t lose their minds, they are back logged. Regardless a psa 10 will always have a higher resale value than sgc 10. Best choice for potentially high value card
i love using SGC for my Pokemon cards. I think the black slabs look really nice. and the 30$ per card for an almost 2week turnaround is worth it , and the high resolution images they provide is also a plus. Hopefully they show it in the Grade Reveal, but I was hoping for an actual Walkthrough, ie., the journey of a card from inception, all the way through the grading process, to the shipping out of that card. I think the Grading company that shows this will be the real winner here!
Imma start grading at SGC honestly, for a “small” or an underdog grading company it’s obvious that they work really hard, great team, with a CEO who really cares about the sports cards industry, very nice.

Honestly for the quality and price of PSA grading recently, I've been looking at alternatives like AGS who use AI to grade the cards more consistently and faster.
Sent some cards in a few weeks ago to SGC and had them back in my hands a week later! First time using any grading service and it was great. Cards look awesome in their "tuxedos". Highly recommend them.

Cool to get a quick tour of the facilities and the SGC culture. Would be awesome to actually see a card go through the process step by step but I also understand there are probably some aspects of the process that are proprietary.
Have done a few subs with SGC and satisfied every time. Really hope this company continues to grow and gain more respect; their customer service is unmatched in the grading world.
The transparency, the friendly company atmosphere and the careful way they grade cards has made me feel much more confident with sending my cards to them for grading. This is such a great video and much needed for the hobby.
wow this is cool. never had cards graded by them but I'm going to be sending some to them now!! I really like the slabs they produce with the black background that keeps the card from moving around. PSA cards move around in there slabs!

what would be cool to see would be to run the same card by all the graders in that room and then see the differences of opinion. and another thing that would be helpful would be some brief narrative coming back with the cards. after all we couldnt see the crease or wrinkle the machine saw and we just have to be dismayed with some of the grades witihout knowing why.
That VSC machine is a game changer. Also being able to see the pictures on your account after on your account is amazing. It really shows why your card scored what it did. This machine shows things that is incapable of seeing with naked eye

It went from a collector oriented market to an investor oriented market. I'm not pro grading or anti grading. I prefer to collect sports and Pokemon as a hobby, sleeve them in binders/top loaders, and I don't intend on grading cards due to the price of grading being rather expensive. Feel like the graded card market and speculators of graded/grading cards has caused an increase in a false or inorganic value of cards. But it is what it is and people will speculate and pay what they feel like a card is worth, even without merit or intrinsic value.
Definitely this will push other companies to be more transparent with what goes on behind the scenes. To be honest SGC was not on my radar. Now im considering using them. Great job guys keep up the good work 🤙🏼

I went with them and I couldn’t be more happy. Really rigorous, but deserving grades. Quality now meeting quantity.

First ever card submission I did was SGC back in March. Really fast service and fair grading I thought. I would recommend them.

When I get my cards graded I think I will go with SGC.
