on the flipper dev boards some people are using the marauder mod but it appears with an extnernal antenna, does that rp-sma female line have to be soldered once purchased ?
The connector the line connects to on the ESP32 WROVER module has to be soldered and there is a jumper resistor that has to be rerouted to point to that connector. There are plenty of tutorials on line that show how to do this.

That Error i got it too. Its shown in the video at 3:46. It's informational error meaning that the board cannot reboot itself and needs a manual reboot. I googled it to find this out since it would have been nice to identify it in the video.
I have a few questions, Am I supossed to have a bunch of links in the board manager URL's, I had zip, zero, and I downloaded the 3.0.0a version of esp32 by espressif systems, am I going to die. will those work, I am not a software guy so this is all new to me. Thank you.

Thank you so much
This is fine. Just hit the physical reset button and you're good
That Error i got it too. Its shown in the video at 3:46. It's informational error meaning that the board cannot reboot itself and needs a manual reboot. I googled it to find this out since it would have been nice to identify it in the video.
I know this is a older video, but is that a Sangin Instruments on your wrist?
I have a few questions, Am I supossed to have a bunch of links in the board manager URL's, I had zip, zero, and I downloaded the 3.0.0a version of esp32 by espressif systems, am I going to die. will those work, I am not a software guy so this is all new to me. Thank you.
Thanks!
Thanks for the tip. I hope you enjoyed the video
Not sure why, but I get no internet connection when I try to connect to the marauderOTA. I'm absolutely new to all this I'll reference back and see if I messed anything up. I'll probably figure this out once I have more time under my belt with it.
I dont even see the marauder OTA as a network
wonder if the maurader code, could be ported to the M5 Stacke core 2.
It can. It just needs a little work to do so
mine keeps coming up with a error code everytime i try and even when i plug mine in it doesnt have the dev board in the port section? im on mac
You're awesome. Love your stuff
my flipper and dev board arrive this weekend. I need help to learn
Join the discord if you haven't already
Where oh WHERE do you get a CASE for the devboard? I'm not taking a naked board on the go with my Flipper.
I have them on tindie
will this connect to a wifi network without the use of passwords?
Question, I used flipper zero extreme firmware. Why do I need to flash the firmware just to enable a feature? If I flash to this firmware can I then go back to extreme and still have it or do I lose it? It seems pretty ridiculous that you would have to commit your entire firmware and user interface etc to just one feature when this should really just be an app or something. Please help
My firmware has nothing to do with what firmware you have installed on your flipper. Watch my most recent video
Ok i want to use marauder frimware on esp32 board without screen and flipper zero, only using mobile phone where do i find the firmware kindly plz guide
Little late but can I do all this on my MacBook? I’m assuming I can but I seen you were running windows
So to get wifi passwords do I need a computer to and do all the other fancy decoding or can I see it right on the flipper? I just can't seem to figure that part out lol
I hope you understand that doing that can be a felony if you don't own the wifi network
I know that bruteforce is not an option, but what about dictionaries?
following the steps however when you mention to select port it doesn't show any port with labelled module however it definitely detects it within device manager port 4&6 appear when connected and disappear when disconnect and its not running through a hub either..
I was having those issues until I installed the steps 5 and 6 CP2110 CH340 drivers. My device changed names from Blackbox ESP32 to ESP32-S2. Also note You will probably get an error during the upgrade! It still worked the error meant that the board cannot reboot and you have to manually reset it. If you watch Very close you see a Red/orange Error bar in the video show up around 3:46
@@pyrophreak2600 had to hold down the boot key and insert usb to get it to label device and then followed all steps right to the end i thought I bricked it cause no LED pops up and had the hardest time getting it to read on the desktop but looks like flipper responds to commands so i guess it works
I cant flash your bat file 😢 idk what to do anymore . I follow the wiki and your videos but it doesnt work ....any tips ?
what kind of cord is used to plug in your wifi dev board and how is it acquired? does it come with it when purchased? i haven’t bought the board and was wondering if it is with it or separate.
It's USB-C
does installing this replace the roguemaster and unleased firmware? i have the devboard but kind of scared that itll put the restrictions back on that it had before the firmware
It does not replace their firmware. This goes on the dev board, not the flipper itself
@@JustCallMeKoko sorry I’m so dumb lol I figured it out a little after I wrote the comment 🤦🏼♂️
Small question, is this needed to be installed on the wifi dev board to be able to utilize the Marauder companion app from the unleashed firmware?
Yes. This is what that companion app was made for
im still receiving the error " exit status 1
Compilation error: exit status 1" i did notice it pop up in the video- is that right? the wifi ap does not show up
someone should make it so you can just bluetooth to the flipper and send commands wirelessly to the marauder esp board would that be possible? does the flipper just power the esp at this point? would the flipper be able to take bluetooth commands \data and pass them along through uart to run commands via a bluetooth uart bridge to the esp dev board in theory?
Flipper does have Bluetooth Capabilities. I don't know if the app has terminal support yet. May have to request that from app developer?
I get you.. waiting on my board.. your vid help me out
mine its stuck on 11% when updating the bin file on that url, what do you suggest?
