LEFT OUT! In the manga version of Dragon Ball Super. People who didn't watch Dragon Ball: "That old man isn't even powerful, he can't defeat anyone with a weak body like that" Dragon Ball Fans: *"you see, that's where your wrong"*

The advert that popped up was a future Tech advert that was saying they were going to make the Keyboard Extinct in favour of speech recognition... how am I supposed to play Games without a keyboard.. soo dumb. anyway good video, master Roshi is really strong for a human.
You forgot the most epic moment in the entire DB series, the 21st World martial arts tournament, the moment he destroyed the moon ! He is also the first person in history to climb the Karin Tower !
I love Master Roshi hes super funny my friend called him a pervert then said but he can be a badass. Which he is and he did invent the Kamehameha wave.
Master Roshi is the strongest of the human race beside Krilin. But they seriously made him to powerfull in the tournament I mean if he would be that strong he alone would take down Majin Buu with ease and I doubt he got so much stronger with training between DBZ and DBS and even if so that would mean his training during his long lifetime was allmost nothing in comparison
Although you are completely right I like to think roshi wasn't ever pushed into a corner like in the TOP. Also by being around everyone that's strong and they have different powers, techniques, would most likely give him some motivation, imagine after a long life of training by yourself you get all these young guys with crazy power but no finesse, or variety of moves. You don't have to be his pupil but he's still gunna school you, and you can't help but respect him.
@@habituallinestepper9329 well said :) but still he did well in a tournament full of universal fighters with godlike powers.. on the other hand others were overpowered too like 17 who was once nothing compared to perfect Cell :P DB is not the most logical anime but its the one who started the worlwide anime hipe and it is my childhood :D
Habitual Line stepper you never watched dragon ball I’m guessing. Cus if you did you would know that there’s no way in hell roshi should have been anywhere near combat in super lol.
Goku said that Roshi most likely trained in secret. And this is semi-confirmed by Roshi during the ToP, saying that he used to think he reached his limit but Goku and Krillin showed him that you can always push yourself harder. Still, even with his massive power-up he still wouldn't be able to beat Buu, he can put a decent fight against a (weakened) Freeza level character (Frost was very weak coming to the tournament as he didn't eat for several weaks, escaping from the authorities), but Majin Buu was several of hundreds times stronger than that. Remember that most of the ToP fighters were complete fodder, and Roshi only beat them with tactics and not with pure strenght, except for bird boy, which again, wasn't really a threat, Roshi said he had the POTENTIAL to become a threat, since he could increase his power infinite times, but at the time he wasn't a big deal. Current Roshi at most would beat saiyan saga Vegeta, and nothing else, which seem pretty realistic if you think about it. It took him several years to reach what, Ginyu's power level?
CharroArgentino there’s still no way in hell. If anything he only started training after the buu saga. He also didn’t have the chamber of time because it was destroyed. His power up is complete bull

I love the master roshi types, any cartoons with more characters like him?
There's a one-off line in dragonball about how Roshi saved a phoenix and has eternal life now.
So I'm not really surprised by any of this.
He has eternal Life, but he ain't immortal. Dude can still die through conventional means but good luck even trying.
Roshi needs to be a fighter in DB FighterZ, come on...
It is kinda sad that we get fricking Yamcha.... but not ROSHI in the game...
@@CarlosThadeu Why though? Yamcha is still a huge part and synonyme of classic Dragon Ball as much as he gets killed later on. My guess is that they need all fighters to be able to fly.
@@dr.shakib9961 I am not saying there can be no Yamcha, but come on, we get Yamcha and no Roshi, but when there was the ToP who went there? Roshi. They did the costumes, Jiren... we are literally missing one of the participants of the ToP. If its because of flying, thats some stupid excuse.
@@CarlosThadeu give roshi a jetpack like hercule has in DBZ budokai tenkaichi
Ostrid Everon yup, or make him fly using his cane like in BT2 and BT3
Roshi: Broccoli, just give it up, it's all over!
Ulong: Very tough, but his name is Broly. 😂
He protecc
He attacc
But most importantly...
He buff as hecc
We never once see him properly train, but he managed from climbing to someone who was vary of the Red Ribbon Army, to someone who could rival planet destructive forces.
What is that guy.
Because by introduction he was already old as fuck. He probably trained with the guy who sealed piccolo
"Youre strong but Im experienced"
LEFT OUT! In the manga version of Dragon Ball Super. He basically makes Jiren respect him and actually fight him properly for a moment (not full power.. but Jiren fight him more than he fought goku up to that point).
Roshi pulled out his experience and basically was on the cusp of ultra instinct himself. He was dodging amazingly, making jiren have to take it up a notch furrther than he had against hit or goku so far.
It was enough that beerus and whis commented that he might be the closest to obtaining the skill than anyone else alive.
The ultra instinct crap works soo much better when it was Roshi giving goku the advice and showing what goku was doing wrong. One lsat big teaching moment.
Ended with gods, angels and jiren respecting him.
bad ass.
Woo! Go master Roshi!
Fire mountain is now called rubble pile.
I'll be honest, i never gave Roshi the respect he deserved. But after the ToP, I have to give Master Roshi massive respect. He showed what limit-breaking is all about
Never underestimate an old man. Especially Master Roshi
And to add to it, its unclear how strong or how old Master Roshi really is. Dude is up there
Roshi is a badass 💯 I know ppl think that Krillen is the power house of the humans in the franchise but I think Roshi is.
Diego Isai Flores all the human warriors are powerhouses in their own right
Master roshi and piccolo are my best characters in dbz
You don't know how much I cried when he almost died.
Old peeps have some of the best fights in anime wth. Roshi vs King Piccolo was insane. Meruem vs Netero gave me chills too
Roshi is the GOAT
This was a great video that you guys made. People know he trained Goku and Krillin as kids and that he is kind of a pervert. However it’s cool that you guys took the time to point out that he showed himself to be a badass on several occasions 👍
Dragon ball be like: WHO NEEDS POWER UP??
YOU GOT IT! EVERYONE GOT IT!!!
The Oprah Winfrey of Anime. LOL
I'm really happy that you include Beerus praise Roshi.
This was so fucking epic to see.
People who didn't watch Dragon Ball: "That old man isn't even powerful, he can't defeat anyone with a weak body like that"
Dragon Ball Fans: *"you see, that's where your wrong"*
It's easy to forget how much of a badass he is
Master Roshi is Kinda Match To All Might That..From Thin To Muscular..kinda Badass😎👌
Master roshi is the first cool master seen by me in tv at a small age those were the days
By the way, even lord Beerus the "GOD" OF DESTRUCTION was touched and asked (I don't remember anymore to whom it was but I guess either kaioshin or kuririn) "what was his name?"
The advert that popped up was a future Tech advert that was saying they were going to make the Keyboard Extinct in favour of speech recognition... how am I supposed to play Games without a keyboard.. soo dumb. anyway good video, master Roshi is really strong for a human.
i realy realy like your videos
Thank you for this.
evil containment wave? you mean... MMMMAAAAAAAFUUUUUBAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Awesome vid. You forgot Worlds Strongest though. I guess you only covered the tv show
Master roshi one of my top3 favorites characters goku piccolo roshi bulma and vageta that's my top 5
You forgot the most epic moment in the entire DB series, the 21st World martial arts tournament, the moment he destroyed the moon ! He is also the first person in history to climb the Karin Tower !
What about the manga ultra instinct? Can't leave that out just because it wasn't in the show!
Agreed. Definitely one of the best.
Doctor Strange did he really go ultra instinct ?
@@xyoungdipsetx Yes that's why I just said it lol.
@@TheVeregat not expicitly
@@masterchief5833 you're splitting hairs.
Everybody gangsta until Master Roshi shows in his sandals
Who did he all underestimated in dragon ball z
@@trueninja01 wow
I love Master Roshi hes super funny my friend called him a pervert then said but he can be a badass. Which he is and he did invent the Kamehameha wave.
Master Roshi is the strongest of the human race beside Krilin.
But they seriously made him to powerfull in the tournament
I mean if he would be that strong he alone would take down Majin Buu with ease and I doubt
he got so much stronger with training between DBZ and DBS and even if so that would mean his training during his long lifetime
was allmost nothing in comparison
His power up is complete bull
the scenes with master roshi where my favorite in dbs, he proved that he is the strongest human, also it made me cry too as i thought he would die
Dragon Ball fan do not underestimate him.
Dragon Ball Z fan always underestimate him.
Love your vids
Him and master splinter are the best kun fu masters of my generation
Splinter is a ninjitsu grandmaster
I was so happy the treatment roshi got in super. He was a badass.
