I don't play quad thorns deck. Instead I play 4 thorns with 2 mimyku and 2 cornerstone orgepon and it's definitely more solid overall over a quad thorns list. Just make sure you run at least 1 mist energy
Yeah I used to play Garde in the last format and in this new one I was hyped by the charizard dusknoir fezandipiti thing... And it still hard lose against Regidrago : /
Did i miss the memo? I havent seen tatsugiri in any miraidon lists. Hard to find bench space with people now running the dusknoir line in some lists, or other running lumineon ontop of squawk, fez, and mew ex and potentially ninja. Any thoughts on if the dusknoir line or the tatsu are worthwhile inclusions?

Quad Thorns fan here. I got second at a cup. Deck actually has some good matchups. You have to beware of the energy loop where they just swap Double Turbo back and forth and retreat. Canceling Cologne is good if you fully setup the turn you evolve into Regidrago. I say it has a favorable Regidrago matchup
Also main thorns. It gets so much better with colress & xerosics next set imo. Running with legacy energy. A good drago player will still find a way every time, kinda frustrating maining a deck like this @locals as they know to start certain mons and always tell me to go first.
Could you further explain why charizard would perform better next format and do you mean after the rotation? Is it because of drago, does it get any support? Also you mentioned next set it comes back, what about next set favors zard?
Next set (stellar crown) the new supporter card Briar is released which helps the deck take more prizes in a single turn than currently possible. Japan has Zard as a clear S Tier deck for next format. If you want more info on Briar and its impact, we discuss it and other stellar crown cards in episode 12 of the podcast!

@DeadDrawGaming. Cipher into Fezandipiti ex is also pretty solid! You can stack a Prime Catcher and something else you need before you Flip the Script! Some cool combos there!

rescue board tatsu has been soo clutch in united wings. Finding my bosses every turn late game & free pivot for weakness or energy fixing.

Academy is awesome, cipher sounds solid if you’re playing Greninja but I haven’t personally tested it - Etchy
