As someone who brought Lugia to worlds - I wish I watched this beforehand 💀. Still played fine but there were definitely some intricacies that I should have drilled into my head which I had to think through in the fly.

Not benching drago V after turo wasnt a mistake? If u let him go with Poltergeist, he has vstar ready, 2x eswitch + attach is an out given that he hasnt used them a lot, so out for them is huge. He has prime catcher in the deck so Dragapult on mew ex + dusklops wins him the game. Please correct me if im wrong, but feels like his out for the game. Unless you never let him go out of everlasting darkness when he has 2nd Drago V in play. Just my thoughts.

you should try adding salvatore in the banette ex deck. It allows you to attack with banette and itom lock first turn going second.

Banette ex is such a dark and evil Pokemon that it makes you not only battle your opponent, but also battle your own mind with the mental gymnastics that is sequencing the plays 😂

I’m relatively new to the game so I might be missing something but at 33:33 couldn’t you have gone: Evolve into Drakloak, Recon Directive, Ultra Ball away Pidgeot and Switch (unless you found something worse off the Recon) for Dusknoir, Candy Dusknoir and put damage on Palkia, Quick Search for Counter Catcher and use it on Palkia, then Phantom Dive KOing Palkia, Terapagos, and Bidoof, and setting up Rotom for a KO next turn? This way they have no attackers/energy on board and you have a ton of outs to win next turn.

Just a question, but in game 1, with the noctowl having 100hp, wouldn't you be better putting 20 on the bidoof and 40 on the hoothoot? Brings it within range of the next attack even if they evolve.

Turn 3 game 2 can you not concealed cards to try hit the last Pokémon 2 needed + area zero for palkia ko on active. very unlikely but what was the reason for not using concealed that turn?

I hope this new support makes bolt more consistent. I don’t know, the deck just feels kind of bad right now, I might just be playing it wrong but the deck just doesn’t feel good this format.

Started collecting Pokemon again in late 2021 right after celebrations dropped. Mid 2022 started playing the TCG with battle academy being my first decks and making decks. Lugia was my first meta deck when Pokemon live came to mobile in 2023 and has been my favorite deck! Love lugia VSTAR!

I believe that for testing mulligan extra draws shouldn't be allowed cuz it is not a realistic situation of how every game will go.

All things considered, I am happy with how the season played out. It was looking bleak when our options felt like they were Zard, Lax, Lugia. This coming season looks like it will only increase the diversity of builds in a positive way.

No use out of Dusk line. Seem to be the case in all the videos and testing ive seen with dragapult. I think Hawlucha and Alakazam are better ways at proactive damage and damage manipulation. Takes up less space and doesnt put you even further behind. Phantom Dive is so efficient that i really think the aim should be more consistentcy and not bulking up the deck with Dusk.

If it can avoid cats knocking damage counters off the board, Pult is in a great spot!
