second game was really good. Lots of interesting resource management with regidrago. On the surface it seems like a simple deck, but sequencing and going for the right line is so important. Any wrong moves and you can easily lose the game because of a missed opportunity OR overextending.
I like this content a lot more, no offense Etchy but I don't wanna watch another video where Gearheart fixes your mistakes the whole set. I still love the channel and the content (and Etchy)!
L take honestly, I find those to be the best parts of the video. It's supposed to be a testing session, not optimal gameplay. The mistakes, discussing potential options and which route to take, that's what makes the videos such a good learning experience.
I like the Pecharunt ex Binding mochi List better as Zard ex. Helps kill Snorlax stall decks altogether, it turns from a difficult matchup to a matchup that's fairly easy.
I think it’s because of the risk of top decking just that as an active. I’m building a regi deck myself and learning it and I believe that is why or the fact that it will be to open to a boss ko on it
@TempestLight78 I guess that's fair, but at the same time, you're not setting up as consistently which is what you want to do as Regidrago. Set up as fast and as much on turn 1 and go nuts
@@aS__Spencer ussualy you want Squakabilly because of energy and draw issue, but having ogrepon and transfer energy help that part squakbilly not a must have card in deck, losing 1-2 prize in early game also have advantage as long u can build your pokemon attacker back, which is easier now? can draw 3 when your pokemon ko last turn is really good effect
Prizes are shown on first deck search for the viewers sake and to speed things up so time isn't wasted prize checking. As this is a testing match with the goal of learning/practice, doing actual prize checking slows things down unnecessarily.
Ok I may have seen a interesting route that could of possibly been taken in game 1 were on drago first attack the possibly use lost impact to deal 280 to zard and possibly look to set up a 4 prize turn by bossing or prime catchering the fish and phantom diving so they they can either take out the bird or rotom for game next turn or possibly another zard it seems like a bit weird and could possibly not work out if the zard uses turo.
19:07 i don’t get the argument here. I mean, he can put 6 on the char and kill the charmeleon if he had boss. That will leave the char player without a ready attacker thus the regidrago wouldn’t be killed. Also manaphy wouldn’t cancel the effect since it’s not an attack but a damage counters placement. Am i missing something here?

I would say he def is a top player..
He did play in seniors. So it’s not like he was inexperienced but it’s def hard to do that especially since if u consider the differences he’s going from 200 player pools to 1200…
I like the game but why is it necessary to tell each other what you have in your hands? I get it that its practice but bro messed up big time in game 2 and both player has been telling each other what theyre gonna do and play. Because a real practice round would mean you wont know if he has boss order or not etc. But I guess what Im trying to say is , play the game first then fix it after. Like watching replay or take a break and talk about plays but keep the game like how it is, cause he supposed to practice the mind game too? Again, I know its practicing , but this only my opinion. Do what works.

looks like the attach for turn was before mew's restart at 42:24, so game wasn't scuffed from the changing of the attach to the regidrago
Yeah we noticed this after, we just didn’t remember when the Drago V was benched and if the attach could’ve actually gone there in the sequence
I enjoy all your videos. Thanks for this!

Why they can see the prices?
I didn't know Drago was capable of whiffing t2 board wipe
How do you play dragapult ex without the basic form??
What color are the regidrago sleeves?
After the goodras attack, no 80 damage reduction?

37:55 what attack is he using to knock out Charizard and Charmander?
Regidrago VSTAR's Apex Dragon using Dragapult ex's Phantom Dive attack.
somebody plz explain 1.26 : poffin and checking prizes???

@@fernandocortez617 because you wouldn't know what your prizes are before playing the poffin. you'd have info you shouldn't have
At the end of the second game, could boss hawlutcha to won a turn and them boss again (I think there was 2 boss in the deck, because of pal pad).
Any reason for Promo Charmander vs 151 Charmander? Both have 70 HP so just curious
Charizard ex does 240 when the opp takes 2 prizes, that 40 DMG can fix some math against vstars without committing another zard ex on the active

They were talking about rad zard like 10 seconds before lol
Why not TM Evolution for charmeleon and dusclops?
It’s prized
Did he ultra ball without discarding first turn?
How are these guys deciding who goes first?
why cant he take the ko at 13:30??
He doesnt have a second regidrago, killing charmander guves the extra 30 damage to kill the only regidrago

They are testing partners they probably see / play eachother often and these could’ve easily been a few games into the session

You also cant put 60 dmg counters on zard ex. says it on the card

You mean 6 damage counters? 60 counters equals 600 damage
Tera on the bench only protects from damage from attacks not affects of attacks.
