I just started my course at humber. Im gonna be watching these videos for tips and hints . Anything can help when getting into real estate. I used to own my own business doing home renovations, then i woke up one day and realized i wasnt happy anymore so i checked out real estate and found i have skills that can help me become a good salesperson. Hi Callum, for many years I wanted to get into Real Estate but lack of information going into an unknown career stopped me from doing so. After looking at your videos which are awesome by the way! you sold me on the idea of registering at Humber. I know it won't be easy as I am still working full time but I am sure this new endeavour will be very rewarding once I get to the finish line. Thanks for sharing such valuable information
HI Callum! Thank you for sharing your insights, experience and advice! Your videos are wonderful learning tools for pre-registrant candidates. You do such a great job of addressing all the thoughts and questions I've had while working through the first module. Loved your video on how to tackle the "NOT" questions on the exam. Great strategies for candidates to use when they encounter those confusing questions! I subscribed to your RUclips channel and will reference your videos as part of my course preparation pathway. Very grateful for your efforts!
Appreciate the tip Callum, thank you! Just started course 1 today, and after about 2 hours of clicking through all of the material I was able to get to the registration portion for this course. However, the message did state that it would be available after, wait for it, after an hour, lol. Not looking forward to pre-clicking the larger modules but it's a small price to pay in hopes to be ready for the spring.
Haha yes I agree. It has to be done to keep control of your schedule. Glad the vid helped! And you're right, course 2 click through I debated outsourcing lol
Hey Terrance. So the one that I recommend and the one that I have put together is the Exam Master Mini Course. It is everything I WISH I had before going into the exams and I update them often. Its kind of an all in one package. Mini Quizzes (detailed MCQ questions with explanations), Mini Notes (essentially condensed notes that I put together to try to focus on what matters most), my Exact Fundamentals I used to pass all exams first try and in 4.5mths and I also breakdown on video 30+ questions you may see on the exam. That last one is to try to give you an insight into my mind of how I approach MCQ's. There are also value links for all RUclips supporters. I'll link to EMMC 1 below Terrance and reach out on anything! www.exammaster.ca/courses/exam-master-mini-course-1?coupon=fam25off
Hey Joamon, sorry for the late reply. Sometimes YT doesn't notify me of the comments as of late. So I have my Exam Master Mini Courses available for additional support if needed. This is great! But I wish you can give us a summary of each course from course 1 and go through the whole modules to help us write successfully the exams… but thanks for your help! merry Xmas 🎄
really digging your videos. thanks for these. in your opinion, do these multiple choice exams have many trick questions? (questions designed to make you think that the correct answer is too obvious or something so you pick a different answer)
No problem man. Not so much on C1 or C2 but yes I found there was a few on C3. I did a video on that right after because I was a bit surprised. Passit for me REALLY helped get a feel for how the questions were going to be. You will get A LOT of "Not" questions. Sometimes these are trickier it's almost if it messes with your brain. Because now there are 3 right answers and 1 wrong and you have to choose that one. But I got much better at these as I started to get a feel of how they work their questions. 👍
Hi i have a question..if a someone buts a house thats in non conformity due to zoning change, when they sell that property can the new owner keep using it under the old use or they must conform to the new zoning. Thanks
Hey! So if the property was indeed a legal non-conforming property it would be passed along to the new buyer(s) and can be indicated in the listing or on the agreement of purchase and sale. Some legal non-conforming properties can be very desirable. But I would definitely do some due-diligence to confirm it. Enquiring with the municipality’s zoning department about the legal status of the property would be best. Ask for details on what the old zoning by-law entailed, and when it was changed. The more information you have the better protect you and your clients will be.
Hi callum i just start course 1 and there is alot of theory how i can pick some notes from and i liked your videos but for course 1 only 2 videos you uploaded

Hello Callum Moore, great video, very enlightening and informative, I just registered for course 1, but to my greatest surprise, it is telling me that I won't have access to the materials until march 18th this year, I don't seem to understand what is happening. Best regards!!!!
Thank you very much for this video. I am new to your channel. I would like to know how many courses there are. And how long does it take to complete the entire program? Thank you

Hey. Yes Passit or my Exam Master Mini Courses are great resources to help pass. Although I know of a few people that have ONLY used my Exam Master Mini Course to pass all exams first try, I still suggest coupling it with the material. It’s how I did it. But I know some people find getting through the Humber material very hard so of course each to their own. 👍 There are discount links above this post and in the description E.S. Reach out if you have any questions anytime as you progress, no worries! 👉 callummoorekw@gmail.com
Hello brother, I need your help. I only have 3 months left to complete the program and I think the last date is Sep 13. I have already done 2 courses but still left with course 3( which I will start tomorrow June 18 ), Sim 1, course 4 and sim 2. As you know, we have to wait for a week in order to book a exam and more than 2 weeks for simulation. And When I calculate my study time and all waiting period to book the exam, I am afraid I wont be able to finish everything on time. I am too much worried about that I know I have wasted too much time because of full time work and also my negligence. Please advise me what should I do . I will be very thankful to you.
Hey. So it sounds like it can be done for sure. You have 86 days. If you pass C3 tomorrow you should be in great shape. It will really help if you can do the Simulation Session during the week. If that is the case, it's 12 days for SIMS 1, 11 days for SIMS 2 leaving you a TON of time for C4. You might even be able to do the math if you can only do the weekend sessions. With some good scheduling you can pull this off for sure. Good luck tomorrow on C3 Kartik!
Hello Callum! Thank you for providing all of these tips!! They are soo helpful! I’ve just started C1 last week and my question is, should I just read and get through it or should I be making notes along the way as well? I feel that time is being wasted by note taking but I don’t want to miss on anything as it all seems important. Question #2. I work full time, do you think it’s realistic that I can get through this before the end of the year? Thank you for your help, much appreciated!! 😅😊
Hey Cher, so glad the channel helps! So I did take notes and they are now apart of the Exam Mater Mini Courses. But how I suggest going through it, might not be how I did it. Try to take small notes only on concepts that you are really struggling with. If you think of concept in the form of a question that you won't be able to navigate to the answer on, take a note. If it's more common sense, maybe keep going. Because by the time you get to C2 you'll see that if you want to get this done in a decent time frame, taking a million notes will be hard. As far as time frame, yes, you should be able to pull this off by the end of the year even only part time. I was never more than 3hrs a day (VERY consistent) and I was able to get it done in 4.5mths. Plus the 3rd party software there is now and even this channel didn't exist. So you have more abilty now to fly through it! Reach out on anything Cher anytime, no worries! 👉 callummoorekw@gmail.com
@@CallumMoorekw That’s exactly what I wanted to know. I feel relieved with out that added stress of not knowing how to navigate this program. Now I have more confidence that I can do it! Thank you for your thorough explanation and I will definitely reach out again if a need too! 😊
I’m currently studying course 1 module 2. Pretty tough . I’m trying to take as much notes as I can so it can stick in my memory. But I am taking too many notes I believe and it’s taking up more time. I started Jan 12th it’s been 14 days and I’m about to start module 3. So, bit slower paced ? I don’t know. I just want the information to stick, that’s what I’m worried about. Reading the material, and then forgetting right away. What are your tips for cementing that information in the mind ? I know not everyone can instantly remember everything right after they’ve read a whole lesson. I just feel isolated like I’m the only one. Also, what do you mean by reading the course AND studying? Isn’t reading the studying? Or do you read through the whole lessons first, without taking notes, then going back and take key points from them? Is that the “study” part? Sorry just trying to gain as much info as I can. Thanks
Hey. So although I did take extensive notes I don't suggest that anymore. I will link to a video that goes through exactly how I would study now. It's more efficient, its faster and it's even more fun as you can break up just reading the dry Humber Material. Video here - ruclips.net/video/b-PFv53Z2T8/видео.html When I say reading, I'm referring to your first read through. When I say studying, this is the delegated time you have set to go back through leading up to the exam. 👍
@@CallumMoorekw I appreciate it my guy. If I have many more questions in the future, you won’t get annoyed right ? Haha. Just trying to gain knowledge. Thanks again.
Hey. Everything can be done online. All the material and exams. It can still be done quite fast. Nothing has changed there. I have another video of how I completed it in 4.5mths never studying/reading over 3hrs a day. No changes there. 👍
Hey Callum! You are doing great work, really a lot of help for the beginners like us. Can you please tell me is it important to read and go thru the KMS tools, I mean it’s already a lot of reading and studying !! I am just gonna finish my first module soon so need your advice plz
18-19 days not hours haha. Yes everyone I have ever talked to felt that way at the beginning for sure. It just takes a bit of time for it to start to sink in. It might not even happen until you start to take a few exams. At least that's how it was for me.
Callum, I have been thinking of doing the Real estate course for the last 2 yrs. Just not feeling confident in myself. Any advice is highly appreciated 🙏
Yea I suppose you just have to dive right in. One bonus is having this channel to refer to and to fully understand what to expect! I didn't have anything like this so you can use it to progress through the program and refer back to it when needed! Good luck if you decide to go for it and you can always reach out to me anytime!, no worries. 👍
@@CallumMoorekw Thank You so much!!! Just one last question since I do not have my High school diploma here, do you have any knowledge on how difficult is the Salesperson Program Admission Exam? And if possible do a video on this topic as well. Again, Thank You so much!!!
@@modes7780 Hey no problem. So I won't be able to do a vid on it as I didn't have to do it but from what I've heard it is very basic. Mainly just to make sure you can speak english. I heard there were a couple simple math questions as well. You should be good. 👍
@@Carlos-bz8vd Hey I think I remember hearing you needed to be working off of a desktop/laptop for the exams. But that might of changed. It's worth a call I'd say. 👉Humber - 416-675-5025 You can definitely study the material on a iPad but maybe for the exams if you do them online it's laptop.
Just getting started today. Are you suggesting clicking through everything immediately and then going back through everything to study after booking your exam? Thanks 🏡
Good morning, Would you please elaborate on how to study for the exam. You mentioned that after reading you studied for the exam. What's the difference between reading the course and study the course for the exam. Thank you.
Hey yes I mentioned in the video I use Passit to help me study after I have read each module and then once again after I have read every module. Here is the video on exactly how I read and study! 👍👉ruclips.net/video/qEXf2RZ6kjg/видео.html
Hi Callum, great video.. Can you elaborate on 1 day/Module ~7Days - what exactly you do here apart from 10 days you've slotted for reading through Humber material? Thanks is advance
Hey Dhaval thanks for that. Sure so I used Passit. ca. 10 days reading the material and quizzing myself at the end of each module. Then I spent 7 days studying straight with Passit. I'll link a video I did about how I studied. 👍ruclips.net/video/qEXf2RZ6kjg/видео.html
hey, I have a question can I apply to this course anytime I want if I have the required documents, for example, it says you need your high school diploma so once I am done with high school can I apply and thankyou!!!
@@CallumMoorekw thank you! I'm trying to time registration for the first exam. I did course 1 module 1 in 1hr38m (they estimated 2h50min), module 2 in 1hr35m (they estimated 3hr20m). I'm trying to see if I use that math to book now, or do a couple more modules and then book later...🤦🏽♀️🤔
Hey yes, a lot of people go through the program with full-time jobs. Yes you apply online at humber college real estate and you pay for each course as you progress. 👍
I read all of the Humber Material yes. Third party tools are fantastic, but I always suggest coupling it with the material. I do know of people that have passed the entire program ONLY using the Exam Master Mini Courses, so of course to each their own, but I do suggest coupling it, yes. 👍
Thanks, I just started my course one , I completed it in 3 weeks then I m waiting for exam for one more week , but next time I ll follow your advice so that I can finish fast,. One question can you suggest any sample question answers to prepare for exam. You suggest any app or notes?
Hey glad you dig it. 👍All on us. You're brokerage won't matter at all but we also have to join a board. Usually the board you join covers pretty far. And you can still do business even outside of your board if you like.
Hey Tarik. The entire course is run by Humber College Real Estate. I will link to their website and support page. It sounds like you should be ready to go but I would reach out to confirm anything about just starting out if needed. 👍 humber.ca/realestate/contact.html
Hi! Getting ready to sign up for course 1. My question is about the dates shown. It says "Sep 03, 2021 to Oct 01, 2021" does that mean I only have 1 month to finish it? Thank you
I'm interested in enter humber college to become a real estate sales person, in the admission requirements, one is to be registered by RECO as a sales person in Ontario, my question is, how it's the way thay I can do that? I have to do courses before enter to Humber college to start my path or the Humber college courses perse are the courses for then I can be registered in RECO. Im kind of lost in that part.
Hey yes. It will ask you for a High School diploma or equivalent credential to apply. Then yes, you do ALL of the Humber College Real Estate Courses and Exams. Then you will choose a brokerage and be officially registered as a Realtor®
@@CallumMoorekw So the RECO register is at the end of the courses of Humber, ohh ok, because I though that we had to register first to get the admission to study in Humber. Thank you so much! You solve me a great question. And I think they are only asking for the secondary school Diploma.
Hi Callum, Great videos. The question I have is that do we refer only to the slides in the course modules or do we need to refer corresponding Act's as well. Basically, are exam questions based on some details in Act's as well or not. Thanks.
Hey Damanpreet thanks for that! I'm not 100% sure what you mean but everything on the exams is directly from the slide(course material). You won't need extra knowledge in Real Estate Act's or anything. Everything we need to pass is in the material. Hope that helps a bit. 👍
@@CallumMoorekw once all 5 courses / exams are passe through humber college , am i qualify to register with a brokerage right away and practice as an sales person/ agent? how much is the entire costs ?!
@@justice4ever264 Yes after completing all of the educational requirements you join a board and a brokerage. Its around $6,700. I breakdown the cost in this video here. 👉 ruclips.net/video/huJivgmSO20/видео.html
@@myurenj4469 Hey. So you will also click through all questions. I know it feels almost wrong haha, but you are just trying to get the software to 100%. Then of course you can come back and answer those practice questions appropriately if you like. No one will know how you answered them. 👍
Thanks for the kindness - for putting this video up. Once we complete the course doing all click-throughs, can we revisit the course to review again ? What is the passing marks ? Thanks again!
No problem glad it helped! Yes you will have access to the online material for 1 year after finishing the entire program. Of course you can download them as PDF’s and store them if you like. A passing mark must be 75% or above. 👍
Hey glad it helped! If you needed hard copies you would have to print them from this material at the moment. All courses can be downloaded in PDF form.
To become a real estate agent in Ontario you have to be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen. But I have heard of people starting the course while they get their permanent residency. 👍
Hi Callum, I am interested in taking up this course but before that I have a few questions. Do I need to be in Canada to take up this course, or anywhere outside Canada is also fine. After I complete how I can apply to move to Canada and start my career in real estate. I am a sales professional working in Qatar in the construction industry. Thanks Shiva
Hey. So all courses can be taken from anywhere in the world and can be done online but you will have to be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen to become officially licenced. 👍
Well you don't have to take anything in University. Humber College handles all courses to become licenced. But if you are looking to add to a Real Estate career some good ones could be business, marketing, accounting or just become a lawyer. 😄
@@CallumMoorekw Yeah thank yoou I understand and what aboout the final exam does it require physical presence? how did u later go to canada did u ask for citizenship?
@@IBRAHIMATHIAM124 Ah. Ok so you have to be a permanent resident or Canadian Citizen to be a real estate agent in Ontario. But if you are all exam including the final can be done online.
Hey there are different. Mine is kind of an all in one. Mini Notes, Mini Quizzes, I breakdown 30+ questions on video you will see on the exam and it also has my exact fundamentals I used to pass all exams first try and in 4.5mths. But Passit is also very good. It has a bunch of practice questions and I used it for Courses 2 & 3 when I was going through the program. 👍 Whichever you choose you can still reach out with any questions if you get hung up on anything Sukhamrit! RUclips will always be free! lol
Callum, good morning, Love your videos. Question about course 2 - do you think the virtual support for $280 is necessary? I saw that it is optional! Thank you for your opinion. Jeff
Hey awesome thanks for that! I didn't buy the extra virtual support no. I feel the course material and Passit was enough for me but it depends. Maybe try the first course without it? I personally haven't talked to anyone that paid for the extra virtual support so not 100% on it.
Hi Callum, thank you for the great information. Me and my girlfriend are planning to do this. We are wondering can one of us not pay for the course and do the exam straight? By all means is we will pay for the course once, then we read it together then take the exam individually. Thank you!
They want all of your money! 😄 Yea unfortunately even if you knew all of the information, like if you were moving here from the US and you have been in real estate for 25 years. Everyone has to pay for every course and every exam to become a licenced real estate agent in Ontairo.
@@MuhammadJunaid91 Ah yea. So I actually stopped doing all Humber quiz activities like that. Of course you still have to click through them but once I started using Passit I just clicked through those
Great informative video Callum! Did you book your exam as soon as you completed all of the modules or did you do passit for a few more days and then book... it..
Yes I booked my exam as soon as I clicked through the entire course to get the date I wanted. But I had planned time to study with passit and referring back to the content after I completed reading though each module for 7 days after leading up to the exam. 👍
Is it necessary to have a canadian PR to get the license after completing the course , as I am an international student from india pursuing a PGDM course from centinnial college ontario
@@excalibur8812 Yes I think so. If you want I'd give them a call. I don't know this but a good questions to ask them might be, can you start the program while your PR is being processed? Worth a try. Humber College Real Estate - 416-675-5025
Appreciate your help and support. Can you let me what is the difference between each of the sections for a course, is it just a start date or something else ?
Yes it was great preparation for the exam for me. Reading the material is very much necessary but the Passit quizzes get you better at the exam itself. How the questions are worded and how to practice your process of elimination skills. 👍
Hi, thank you for the informative video. Do you have any idea if I can start the whole process while simultaneously finishing my Diploma here in Ontario? Btw, I am an international student and already licensed realtor way back home.
😄 Thx for that. Maybe you’ll know why the online digital exams take 12 hours to process as well. If so let me know! 😄 edit - BUT I actually just thought of this. If you book your course at 11:59pm, you have access to it in 1min. Hmm, something tells me it’s just how they have it set up randomly.
@@CallumMoorekw so we know the 24 hour period is max. It’s to do with the date. As soon as the system recognizes and processes the queued up legit payments at the literal end of that Calendar day, it hits Humber’s servers to unlock the ‘pending’ courses and light up the ‘Start’ buttons. The exam results, on the other hand, can only be viewed the next day to maintain a standard and uniformity I reckon. Also could be an integrity thing ... Say if I took exam at 1 pm, feel confident about , passing it, actually pass and then give my answers to someone who is to take the exam the same day at 7 pm. (Bc the set of questions could be same for a day?) 🤷♂️

However, the message did state that it would be available after, wait for it, after an hour, lol. Callum thank you for the videos. What study guide resource would you recommend the most for course 1, and all the courses for that matter. Cheers.

They are yes. In certain circumstances they are also required to be just outside of every bedroom as well.
really digging your videos. thanks for these.
in your opinion, do these multiple choice exams have many trick questions?

(Bc the set of questions could be same for a day?) 🤷♂️
@@VB-bo5kz Yes maybe they could be the same for that one day. Hmmm
Great advice totally appreciate it thanks so much ❤
Awesome Amanda glad it helped!
