Brother you are in a league of their own your dedication to getting the last bite with the sun going down. I was wondering if you were going to do some moonlight fishing lol!
What a day bro!! Im goung out all day tomorrow. Cant wait, weather is funally awesome for, cruising a few miles out. And testing some new accessories on ny yak. 💯 😎 🎣
Those deps are killer dude! 4in for drop shot or smaller ball head and the 5in just the way you're throwing them, I've ball headed a fluke style bait for years and crushed them, it's crazy the hype it has around it now.
I’ve been working on that technique for months with no success. I’m using a different bait but am using a LVS32 and a VMC swim head jig. Thanks for the video.
Congrats on another successful video! What is your forward facing sonar set up? I didn’t see any links in the description below the video. Thanks.👏🏿👏🏿🎣
I always feel unaccomplished watching RUclips. I catch fish just not big fish. I have caught only 1 4.87 in my 14 years fishing. This guy pulls 85 4+ pounders on the same day and same lake. I suck 😩 but not really. Great work.
Yeah and they arent cheap too. 11 dollars for a bag, pretty much one bait is about 1.75 each lol. They are usually are sold out online everywhere but 559fresnobaitandtackle has full stock so i just grab it from there.
Genuine question. You attribute the catches more to scope or the lures? Every time i see scope catches I wonder if said fish would have been caught without it
He explained it in the video if you watched to the end, says he didn’t necessarily see the fishes on sonar. He just fished based off of previous knowledge of the area.
been fire at Eastman right now, i was able to catch bass, crappie, and bluegills on a single jerkbait whole day, quality bass has been explosive on topwater too
Do you think its the lure thats effective with this, or the technique? I mean lets say if I did this with a zoom fluke or something similar Wondering if it would produce the same result? Great Work overall Damian. Appreciate you sharing the day of fun fishing.
The problem with a fluke is that most of them have a hook slot designed for more texas rigging. Look at something more like the zman chatterspike, hawg farmer/missile spunk shad, or rapala free loader. They will sit on a jig head better because of the solid body.
Bro the best day on the water for me ever was a partner and I put a 28 lb limit in a tournament and won it you pretty much put 25 for 5 just having fun most people cant say that incredible
With no FFS within a foot off. With FFS slightly above the fish ur scanning could be on the bottom or suspended. It's more a suspended technique but will work just fine towards the bottom.
Yeah, the stripper stuff gets a lot of interest since its a species a lot of people target to eat. But staying on that striper bite is a bit tougher since those fish are constantly moving around
Man how you know what fish to keep I look at the fish and wild life website and make no sense to me can you simplified it for me only one I have see from you is at the accueduct stripers had to be 18 In or greater
It varies depending on the Lake. You can find it in the handbook/online or go to a local tackleshop they'll know the regulations. You can also ask the park ranger at whatever body of water you are fishing and they'll let you know what is a keeper size fish on that perticular body of water.
@@whatsyours1 technique has been around for very long. It’s practically crappie fishing. But the lure itself is pretty nice. Does a few unique things that separates it from the rest of the baits.
I’ve caught fish strolling without ffs just blind casting or with 2d and it’s just as effective just like all other baits that work without ffs. Don’t let the graph discourage you it’s a great technique even if you don’t have ffs.
Geez...you manhandle those fish on spinning tackle! What pound test is on that sucker? It rattles like it's 15lb fluoro! And the build on those fish!!!!! Amazing fishing, amazing sunset...wow ..epic
I believe i was using 6lb test or 8lb test. Dont recall what lb test i spooled on the reel. Its really old line so it has a lot of memory and sounds/feels like bigger line
Good thing we're stocked up on Deps Sakamata at 559 Fresno Bait and Tackle😉😆
That was off the hook! Thank you so much for sharing and explaining the process! What a fantastic day!🤙
Thanks for sharing! Nice bag!
Days like these are the best. Awesome fishing.

Nice video. What jig head are you using? Tu
Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening of fishing. Thanks for sharing!
Cant ask for a better day, glass calm waters is just relaxing to be on
Always slaying Damian! Good catches
Damien should have to buy three licenses for how many fish he catches very impressive....

I really wanted to stay out and fish more but couldnt record anymore content once it got dark lol

You make it look easy
Sheesh! That live scope is the shit! You definitely perfected!
This guy always slay, glad he stays in Cali lol wouldn't want to see him in my local circuits
Get live scope you could do the same
eastman has been looking so fun. i needa go out there instead pine

Im using a garmin 93sv with livecscope-LVS34
Nice catch!!!
Damian, what size deps sakamata were you throwing?
5 inch
@@dthao92 thanks!!
Incredible footage, thanks for sharing. What kind/size of jig head is that?
the one im using is just an Owner's round jig head. I believe its at 1/4oz
Damian, can you give me the spec on your spinning rod you are using? Length and action if you have it. Great video as always.
Thanks! im using a Stix #2 which is a 7′ 2″ medium moderate-fast action
Nice killing em. What rod/reel setup you use for that technique?
What kind of fish finder are you using?
Im using a Garmin 93sv with livescope
DT & 559 Bait & Tackle = BEST
That was a sick video. What lb test do you throw this on?
he says it in the video
he said 6lb

Where are you located?
Will this technique work without ffs?
Anything will work without ffs just may be tougher to locate those fish
Yes. FFS just helps keep you in a targeted zone and depth better.
Nice man keep it up! I like you aloooot!!
Tell me more about that transducer Mount
Nice work buddy
Just wish those dang Sakamata shad weren’t so hard to find. I have some in purple shad and they are awesome.
Yeah and they arent cheap too. 11 dollars for a bag, pretty much one bait is about 1.75 each lol. They are usually are sold out online everywhere but 559fresnobaitandtackle has full stock so i just grab it from there.
Is that livescope or active target?
It's livescope
Genuine question. You attribute the catches more to scope or the lures? Every time i see scope catches I wonder if said fish would have been caught without it
He explained it in the video if you watched to the end, says he didn’t necessarily see the fishes on sonar. He just fished based off of previous knowledge of the area.
Yeah those Sakamata with the rang rollers have been crushing for me. Deps always pushing out quality.
How deep were you fishing?
Fish were located anywhere from 15-30ft
been fire at Eastman right now, i was able to catch bass, crappie, and bluegills on a single jerkbait whole day, quality bass has been explosive on topwater too
But did you catch 24 lbs for your best 5 bass though?
Do you think its the lure thats effective with this, or the technique?
I mean lets say if I did this with a zoom fluke or something similar Wondering if it would produce the same result? Great Work overall Damian. Appreciate you sharing the day of fun fishing.
It's the technique. Fluke would work but it seems like the rounder type seems more effective .
Been fishing this way for years without FFS secret is out!!
The problem with a fluke is that most of them have a hook slot designed for more texas rigging. Look at something more like the zman chatterspike, hawg farmer/missile spunk shad, or rapala free loader. They will sit on a jig head better because of the solid body.
Yer killing me!
Master DT
Bro the best day on the water for me ever was a partner and I put a 28 lb limit in a tournament and won it you pretty much put 25 for 5 just having fun most people cant say that incredible
Wow nice man, to get 28lbs during a tournament is insane. I bet you were feeling it going into weigh in with that monster bag lol
Are you bouncing it off the ground?
With no FFS within a foot off. With FFS slightly above the fish ur scanning could be on the bottom or suspended. It's more a suspended technique but will work just fine towards the bottom.
Man i notice the folks like the striper stuff alot u put alot into that last video but it just didnt perform like these striper videos
Yeah, the stripper stuff gets a lot of interest since its a species a lot of people target to eat. But staying on that striper bite is a bit tougher since those fish are constantly moving around
Definitely need FFS for this technique.
most people dont get this. midstrolling is a livescope technique, most people wont have nearly as much success with it not knowing that
Lure technique? were you using live scope?
Midstrolling, and yes
Man how you know what fish to keep I look at the fish and wild life website and make no sense to me can you simplified it for me only one I have see from you is at the accueduct stripers had to be 18 In or greater

Glassy!
Noooo... tas told u my secret bait! 😂
bruh, tas never tells me nothing man lol. I seen Kyoya Fujita throwing it and wondered why it was always sold out. So figured id try it out lol
Aint no secret. This technique has been taking over MLF and BASS this season. It's an old technique but jacob wheeler exposed it last season.
@@whatsyours1 technique has been around for very long. It’s practically crappie fishing. But the lure itself is pretty nice. Does a few unique things that separates it from the rest of the baits.
😂
so it was a fluke you caught those fish
It's different, looks like a zoom fluke but action is much different. Once you try it, you'll see the differene.
Simple technique that costs $2000+ to do lol
I’ve caught fish strolling without ffs just blind casting or with 2d and it’s just as effective just like all other baits that work without ffs. Don’t let the graph discourage you it’s a great technique even if you don’t have ffs.
@@t.w.bassin1550 definitely not just as effective but yes it can be done. And I do have livescope and it’s fun as hell
