Dude I got sent off for a while so I thought I'd buy a guitar and learn something l. A few friends and a few teachers, the teachers couldn't teach me and a few friends try playing with me. , since 07 I've learned by ear. hey matt you are in my opinion the best in guitar teaching. I agree that timing is everything with strumming but if you could add the strumming pattern to the videos it would help me a lot! I know you have videos on strumming.

My biggest issue is timing and strum patterns , I can hear what your doing but I just can’t make the same sound.. any tips to learn counts rhythm and strumming?

It doesn’t start with the chorus (0:30). It’s starts with the verse, seventeen don’t know that much...., the chorus starts with,she got the best of me..., your instrumental was right. But you started with the chorus, and the original version of this song starts with a verse. Hope this helped

I've seen Luke play it twice live and multiple videos of Luke playing it, he plays it exactly like Matt taught it except Luke uses a F/D chord instead of regular D chord.
