I do attend classical music concerts occasionally, and, while there are those attendees who look like they've been in attendance for every single concert since 1945, there are a fair number of middle-aged and much younger attendees also. The nice thing about classical is that it is kind of timeless. Music fads come and go, but it's always just there.
Honestly. Something that says a lot about the last few generations is how long the music remains relevant, with each generation growing shorter and shorter until today, where most pop songs remain relevant for 2 months on average, maybe 6 of they're lucky.
I'm 16 and go to classical music concerts every once in a while but where I'm from it's like 65% old people and 30% middle aged people and the rest are maybe a few younger people. But idk I'm from a southern Balkan country and people here don't really appreciate classical music so yea
Bro I'm a hip hop listener but I also like progressive or house music. People who shit on EDM immediately thinks of dubstep and they forget house, progressive house, trance, etc. 💀

As a video game soundtrack enjoyer, I can confirm our music is superior, yet underrated
Funny how something so underrated makes up over half of the comment section here. I love video game OST but you gotta stop this underrated narrative, it really isn't anymore.

The fact that EDM isn't on this list makes me cry in Progressive House.

Bro I'm a hip hop listener but I also like progressive or house music. People who shit on EDM immediately thinks of dubstep and they forget house, progressive house, trance, etc. 💀
@@marcus4646 i agree. Progressive house is awesome, especially the deadmau5 kind.

I can confirm the classical music one. I indeed am barely able to speak, cannot walk, is 14 years old, has severe back pain, arthritis, and lives confined to one room only. So relatable. Especially as a 14 year old

Agree, good band. Close to the edge is cool

As a wise man once said,
I respect all genres of music.
As someone who listens to metal, this is absolutely correct. My neck is in severe pain because I can not stop whirlwind headbanging. I have seen dozens of chiropractors but none of them can help me. Even while writing this I can't stop.
Soundtrack is basically goated from everywhere; movies, games, tv shows, etc.
As an Aphex Twin/Avalanches/Boards of Canada/BT/Orbital/Warp Records/Deadmau5 fan and a music composer myself, I can confirm that every little bit of attention to my music is a treasure.

Video games music is very good because it fits into the game "Story" or action if made properly. It also introduces us into a wide variety of more music, like bury the light for example. Some of the inspiration that the bury the light got is from periphery and pendulum, which is a metal and electronic band
