As a Niners fan, it’s a marvel to me how the Steelers have only had 3 HCs over the course of the last 60 years! 😮 😮
Always wild thinking about that. Not to mention they’ve almost always had tough, hard nosed, and top tier defenses. Very well run organization. Go Pats
Fellow Niners die hard since growing up in the bay during the peak era of Joe, Jerry, Dwight, Roger and Ronnie. I respect the Steelers so much for how their organization is run. Having only Chuck Noll; Bill Cowher and Mike Tonkin as the only coaches in their existence is just a testament to how great of an organization they are.
Every one Hall of Famers too.
Belichick had the Browns going in the right direction. He beat the Patriots in the playoffs, then the next year is when they announced they were moving to Baltimore. That season was a disaster with way too many distractions. If he had the chance to keep going had the Browns stayed, or if he went to Baltimore, I think we could have been talking about a totally different dynasty. I'd say there's still a good chance he drafts Brady, wherever he is. He also set up the groundwork for what turned into the Ravens championship teams.
Some publications were saying that the 95 Browns were a potential Super Bowl candidate. They were really good in 94 (11-5) and had the #1 defense in 94 and they were competitive out of the gate in 95 but the season completely tanked after Art announced The Move midway through the season. They only won ONE game after the announcement: their final home game against Cincinnati.
Yeah, Belichick really did have those original Browns moving in the right direction. Would've been an interesting "what if?" had The Move never happened. He more than likely would've brought the Lombardi to Cleveland.
Love this interview!
If that disgrace Modell wouldn't have stolen the Browns the outcome that happened after wouldn't have! Worst owner ever, fires two hall of fame coaches??? Garbage
Is bill cowher a bobble head?????
COWHER POWER!
Pretty sure Bill did Bill a favor! 😂
Bills watch out for each other
Bill had to cheat on Bill that's how good Bill was.
Not if the Browns were not stolen, and changed the whole organization. The Browns were dominant in the division bf stolen to Baltimore.
@@johnquest1044 thank art modell and the stadium debacle
Art Moddell was the worst owner ever.
The game has passed by👍🏼
Too bad Bill Parcels, Bill Belichick, and Bill Cowher didn't coach for the Bills at some point.
Amazing. Model fired HOF coaches Jim Brown, Cowher as an assistant, and Belichek after move to Baltimore.
Yet, the Browns/Ravens franchise are a superior organization. Browns 1946-95 and Ravens have similar all time win loss records. Unfortunately, the current Browns 1999 to present have one of the worst all time win loss records for a sports franchise in history of all professional sports. Models move, Al Lerners death, Randy Lerners sale to Haslam has led to 23 out of 26 losing seasons
If only Cleveland would have been smart enough to keep Belicick or hire Cowher !
It wouldn’t have mattered. They left and went to Baltimore. It worked out for Baltimore.
Wouldn't have mattered, they were stolen and moved by one of the worst owner's of all time.
"If Hitler were alive I'd take him"
Art Modell
You mean Baltimore, not Cleveland. Ravens let Belichek go after the move. Browns did not have a team from 96 thru 98 seasons.
This was a misleading headline
You mean how Belichick kept Mr. Potato Head from becoming Browns coach..... right? Cuz that thing on the screen ain't Bill Cowher..
yeah it is a very weird image.
Wish he would've coached the browns
Did Belichick also talk to the Ref's on your behalf before that Superbowl? Asking for a friend...
belichick will fire anyone but he won't fire himself by seppuku. Dude's afraid of his own blade. Lol
