Honestly, I’d take my chances with the submarine!!! At the very least, you get on the radio and call mayday. Your coordinates would be easy to find on whatever he used for navigation. I have a boat, but still- it’s not that hard to grab a radio and follow instructions.

I no he was clever but not that clever because he could have strangled her and said she died of drowning...even though no water was found in her lungs but if oxygen ran out it would make sense, so glad his ego got the better of him.

What always gets to me about this tragedy is how many _near misses_ there were for a seemingly benign situation - one even the savviest of woman like Kim would just never have seen coming. Kim was moving to China, _only hours_ from her farewell party.... Madsen _almost_ didn't get back to her request in time.... Kim's partner went to the docks with her & _very nearly joined her_ in the sub as Peter made them both uncomfortable, but Kim figured she'd be OK for a short hour-long trip.... her boyfriend was literally texting her as they sailed away. Kim was no shrinking violet & could take care of herself.... she just found herself trapped in an inescapable situation with a deranged mind. The thought that her screams would reverberate around inside that metal tube yet no-one could hear her or help her... chills me to the bone. RIP Kim 💜🤍
