He was originally a pinball style runner. Crazy that he made the transition into a change of pace back that embarrassed defenders with lateral mobility. That's incredibly rare.
Goes to show that you don't have to have blazing speed or overwhelming power to still be a great RB. Vision, elusiveness, patience and instincts are extremely valuable traits for any great RB
Lol he said that Wisconsin’ DC is gonna say that it’s unacceptable for his defense to let leveon do them dirty like that... little did he know he’s gonna be doing that to grown men NFL players in a couple of years
Bell was a 20 footer.. you only needed about 20 feet of tape to know this guy's REALLY good. I knew that back then the minute I saw him play as a freshman. He and Marcus Lattimore were the 2 best Tailbacks in the country 🏈
@@MrSPIDEY21 You clearly don’t know football, just because a guy is faster doesn’t make him better, Le’Veon had a special vision, he didn’t need to be the fastest. Ntm, Le’Veon was more elusive, and much more shifty. Kenneth will be lucky to have half the career as Bell.
@@GetDoughJ when you’re as slow as leveon you need that much vision and patience. The guy has ZERO break away speed. Kenneth is actually faster and he’s Shiftier as well as more of a game breaker. Leveon always had a good qb, great Oline, and great receivers around him. If you gotta key on AB of course Leveon is going to have space with that blocking. Stop it
dude was a freshman putting in work against serious! competition! Big Ten is no bullshit certainly then when it was still under center-double tight-ground and pound game. I feel bad for lineman now a days, the big guys wanna move up field and hit people, not pass pro every down. The RPO spread is getting lame b/c everyone copies it, and it barely works anymore. The formations look cool and its fun for the playes b/c signals and motion but its getting kind of lame

It’s crazy that he was able to have 150-200 plus yard games while going against 8-9 in the box and he wasn’t 4.3 40 type RB
I think vision and burst will always be more important than speed at rb

He's 6'3 and patient
My favorite player
