Whos loving the Motion Graphics Templates???? I've heard so many good comments about them and I'd love to see how your using them so post some clips on Twitter and tag me in them!
Any thoughts on how to install easier on PC?
1:11 Matt returning the love. Nice touch there Mr. Editor!
I'm a big fan.
One thing that I would love would be the ability to adjust the size (of some of the shapes) either horizontally or vertically independent of each other.
Could you possibly use it with final cut pro. Thanks
Was going to buy them last night.. are they compatible with davinci resolve?
I’m glad to hear the explanations of the “why” behind slow motion- that’s important, and I think often overlooked!
These great tips are golden especially for someone like me who’s aiming to try my hand at filmmaking this year! You got my heart pumping dude! Thanks so much! 🤩
Thanks for the Matt and also those very helpful motion graphics.
KB
Fantastic tips. I honestly only started using 120fps a few weeks ago 🤣 Regretting ignoring it now.
Definitely taking the “move quickly” advice out in the field, thank you!!
Missed these type of "Travel Feels" era videos. Awesome work Matti!
Great tips, can I ask you this: could you show us behind the scenes how you move the camera for whip transitions, I’m having problems controlling the the camera, after every whip, I would like to see how you do it. Thanks for the info you post every week!
Since getting the Sony A7iii I've joined the 120 club and have been a little obsessed with it! I haven't done much video work before but it's so much fun! Thanks for all your amazing tips.
ReallY amazing to watch all your videos! This one in particular. Never did filming before, so it never made sense. But trying to film more and this is super helpful all those tips! Thank you!!
You are the best filmmaking tips and tutorial maker on youtube Matti!
Absolutley love your content
Thanks Matti! Love your channel
Aloha from Paradise Matti,
This was excellent.
Really enjoy it when you take time and teach, “how to” or “how I do it”
Mahalo
Great tips and loved the short b roll intro. I'll definitely try and use #3 more and make the footage more dynamic, especially like you explained how the footage is gonna be smoother already. Keep it up!
Body is ready, thanks matti for the awesome tips
I love those little "hidden" messages Matt always leaves in the vid :D
good work, guys!
This is a great tutorial Matti! LOVE IT! Sometimes in my videos I went way too far with the warp stabilizer and I got some strange footage. Maybe you can make a tutorial on how to properly use the warp stabilizer and how changing every parameter will give you a different result :)
You know? I didn't realize how much of a difference 35mm f1.4 to 85mm f1.8 on slow motion would be. You're the man!
These are such great tips and excited to use them :) Thank you so much Matti!
Yeeeesss new video! Defo going to try and use these tips in my next video!
Thanks a lot Matti. Nice work 👌🏻
Thank you for these videos, Matti! You are someone I look up to for filmmaking. An inspiration!
Great tips Matti! Just shot an entire engagement video in 120p with a gimbal and there wasn't a bad frame in the whole shoot.
Niceeee matti im going to try some slow motion broll today💯👌👌👌
This totally gave me something new to work...killin it Matti!!!
Great video Matti! Always enjoy the break downs and tips. Also hi Matt!
Great advice and excellent tips! Thank you Matti.
Amazing video Matti. A great way to refresh some knowledge!
Great tips! This was really useful.
Great one!! Thanks a lot for those tips! :)
Buttery smooth. Nice.
What a great video! Thanks for the tips Matti!
Matti, you da man! I always learn something from your videos. Especially like tip #5!
I use 60fps on the 6d mk ii and love the slow motion it produces. Using these tips will make it even better!
Nice tips matti .. we will try this tips for our next vlog, love 120p alot , good for any footage , even we use for food vlog !!
THANKS A TON FOR THIS!!! This is one of the main areas that I really need to improve on my vlogs. Perfect timing Matti
Travel More! Worry Less!
Good slogan 😊
same!
Really useful thanks Matti!
Awesome explanation as alway Matti! As a newbie RUclipsr I really appreciate your videos. Thanks for all your effort!
Yes Matti. Thanks for the tips man
Thanks, Your videos really inspire me.
Thank you matti!! Very helpful! I just got a gopro 8 and I'm so excited to start trying out slow mo on it so this was super helpful! :)
Matti u won't believe how much I have waited for this.
Yayyy 🙌🏻
Some basic but super important stuff. I find myself constantly forgetting to put warp stabilizer on my 120fps clips lol. Thank you for the info Matti!! :D
Great video once again man! Totally killing it. On a side note to your buttery-smooth slo-mo, I have found that a little camera shake actually helps to dramatize the footage, but it definitely needs to be shake that doesn't draw the viewers attention away from the subject. Some of your shots had a little shake and it looked soooo good! Keep up the great work Matti!
Oh, and I'm going to give Matt a 11, just because he mastered the dramatic camera-face while also skating!
Cool info. thanks Matti.
Awesome video Matti. Also great tips.👍🏼
definitely the best slo mo video on youtube
Great content thanks Matti
Thank you so much. To the point and direct.👍🏽
Awesome Bro!!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge
Amazing video! Thanks for your help!
You are a legend idol Matti! I always love your shots! also i love your color grading! THE BEST!
Great video! Good companion video to the Moment video talking about slow motion video
The 1dxii has got to be hands down the nicest looking 120fps camera currently in a DSLR / mirrorless. GH5 looks good but something about the 1dxii just looks so good.
These are 5 perfect tips!!! great video!
Great tips
Thank you !
Thanks for the tips. I will integrate this into my next video
Omgosh this is EPIC INFORMATION THANK U 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Nice tips thank you! I would love more in depth of this video with gimbal too. As an how you choose your compositions (I’m sure it’s intuitive mostly after so many years of experience) but it will be nice to hear basic break down. And after you done shooting maybe second part would be in depth editing! Thank you 🙏Mattie! Love your content!
Thank you Matti!!! You are the BEST at this! Thank you for helping all of us to know more. I just got the Fuji XT-3 so super excited to try to do better. You Inspire! 🙌🏻
@Chandra Pivo I can't wait to see what you come up with!
@@JayLippman Thanks Jay!
Oh awesome camera! Your gonna love it
@@mattih the XT3 only does 120fps @ 1080p, while 4k is capped at 60fps. What would you suggest? 1) film everything @1080p or 2) film at 4k24 and somehow blend /scale 1080p120 or c) everything 4k and use 4k60 and fake the 120 slowmo?
@@GeoffRichards_GP In my experience with the XT3, it looks better to video in 1080p 120 and res it up to 4k rather than to slo 4k 60p down to 120.
Good stuff, Matti! As always.
On a scale of 1 to 10
Matt is totally great ice skater.. awesome.. I'll give him 10! He's is absolutely amazing!!!
Loving the SLOW MO!!!
Nothing better than outdoor skating in sub-zero weather... wait, no, nearly everything is better. Great tips. Thank you.
Just finishing up today's edits & got the notification... good time for a break... I do everything from tripods in the shop & when i started shooting slo mo, I would do everything slower too, took me a while to realize that wasn't necessary, hahaha.... Thanks for all the help... have a great day...take it easy...
Thank you! That was very good and i m sure i will use this tips in my travel vlogs! Thanks mate! :)
Great video Matti, thanks for sharing!
excellent. Thanks Matti.
I wish I can like this video more than once. Thank you for the advice!
super helpful! Thanks Matti!
Wow. Nice comparison between 85mm and 24mm. Thanks!
That's awesome! Cool tips Matti! 😍👌
I just went from the Canon T3i to the Sony A7 iii and let’s just say 120 FPS is addicting! Thanks for the great tips Matti!
What percent you slow it down
Yes it's what I was looking for, thanks for sharing it !
Great tips! I would love to see more of the behind the scenes of making some of this
Matti back again with another banger!
Yeeeeeeee 😊 🙏🏻
Thanks for that! using the zoom lens instead of shooting wide was a super useful tip.
🙌🏻
Thank you! Great tips!
Hey Matt.. if any comment i can give .. this is the most beneficial tips you just made in my opinion .. 👍🏻 keep it up bro .. Also may you do Drone flying techniques videos or settings .. Or maybe Drone Secrets .. i think most people would love being drone pilots like you ..🔥👍🏻⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Any advice for adding sound effects that compliment slow-motion footage? I always find that good foley adds so much but have trouble finding or recording stuff that works. I noticed that you typically will go back and add nice audio so I'm sure you have a few tips for that too :)
Thanks for the insight, bro. This video had saved me so much trial and error.
Im new to doing RUclips. Thanks for these wonderful tips. It will come in handy!
120 fps is my go to frame rate presently, you really made it more interesting for me 👍🏻
Well thank you for this video you share and i will try to do the same camera movement.. enable for me to learn to your tutorials..
Cool video!! Imma start using the 120 setting in my zv1
Great stabs - skates and rollers!!! going to try
Love your footage!
This is great man! Thanks for the tips! 🙌🏽
🙌🏻
nailed this video matti! kinda pissed youtube didn't notify about it, i just happened to open the app and see it! great tips
Helpful video man thanks
Great tut. Thanks a lot. Just a question, are you doing it on a 24fps timeline or sequence?
Thanks! Love your videos
Just picked up a sony a7iii..... loving the slow motion and the fact i can hand hold it and get some decent results. How does the sony compare to the canon 1dx?
Matti,
I was just wondering what causes the lights (at 6:28) on the trees in the background to quickly pulsate because in the rest of the clip the lights flash fine? Great video. Thank You for sharing your knowledge. Cheers
Thanks you so much. Great tips.
Love this kind of videos!!! So helpfulllll
🙌🏻
@@mattih You know what would be so cool. if you try to do the same with a biginners camera! just to see the results. :)
amazing tips 👏👏
Great tips Matti 😀 Love some super smooth 120p Broll. Bro.
I really dig the audio in the opening BRoll sequence- adds just another exciting element! Did you capture that with your camera in this instance or edit in already existing audio clips in post??
Thanks for uploading. This will be very useful
🙌🏻
