This movie is one of my favorites in the MCU, idk why people hate on it so much. I also don’t understand anyone telling you to skip it, since is vital to watch.
I feel like the main reason why people hate on this one so much is it's just simply not as good as the first Avengers. That being said it's still a lot of fun and it's still a big part of the MCU. It's not bad by any means.
I think Barton had one of the best lines in any of these movies: " The city is flying...Ok, the city is FLYING!? We're fighting an army of robots... And I have a bow & arrow. None of this makes sense." 😂😂
@sydneybrown7636 I guess I've just never heard anything like that before, I really only talk to my friends about stuff and they all share my opinion so I never really realized other people didn't like this one 🤷🏻♀️
@28:45, the Hulkbuster armor is called Veronica as a joke. Bruce’s girlfriend from the first Hulk movie is named Betty. In the classic Archie comics (the inspiration for the show Riverdale), the main character Archie is caught between two possible girls - Betty and Veronica.
the guy you recognize from black panther is Andy Serkis. He's also was the actor who played gollum in Lord of the Rings. Andy is legendary in his acting range
Yo….my g…..u really thought out loud the entire time😂lol. U ain’t let a single scene unfold without rambling on about something🤭. It’s all good, watching u be wrong is hilarious 🤣
"How you not losing a lot of blood?" After his arm was chopped off... the body will retract and contract the veins and arteries after an amputation, so they bleed a lot less than you would expect.
Captain saying language is so awesome. With him being older than them, treating the rest of them like kids cause they basically all like kid age to him. Except for maybe Thor, though.😂😂😂 By the way, great reaction.🎉🎉
Thanks for the great reaction! I believe the reason people don't like this movie as much is because Ultron is so much doper in the comics than they displayed in this. But I agree with you, this movie was a banger and don't let anyone convince you to skip movies in a series, we want you to experience the while thing so you get a complete picture!
I love, love, love the mind control sequences. Thor's fear sets up both Thor Ragnarok and the next Avengers movies. Tony's greatest fear is everyone else dying. Not what you would expect given where his character started. This fear drives future bad decisions. The greatest fear of Steve and Natasha are things that already happened to them. Not only does this tell you something important about them, but also explains the foundation of their friendship. Helen Cho is the mother of a future superhero. His heroic journey starts when she is killed.
I audibly squealed seeing the thumbnail!! I just clicked on, but I know for the next 52 minutes and 16 seconds I’m going to be smiling so much my cheeks hurt! Thank you for being you and always brightening up my days! ❤️
Great reaction! 😊 I really like this one! Here we get the introduction of one of my favorite MCU characters, Wanda Maximoff and also her twin brother Pietro. And we meet Clint Burton's family. This movie also has one of my favorite Stan Lee cameos. The party scene when everyone is trying to lift Thor’s hammer, and their first encounter with Ultron is one of my favorite scenes. Fun Fact: When Natasha is watching the video of Clint's baby you can see the baby's name on his bib. And his name is Nathaniel Pietro Barton. Clint and his wife gave their newborn son the middle name Pietro after Wanda's brother after he saved Clint. Up next, the last movie in Phase 2: "Ant-Man". Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊
I think that is cool that their baby was named Nathaniel for Natasha and the middle name Pietro too. Honoring one of their best friends and the fallen ally who died saving his life.
Age of Ultron is a terrific movie. So many things in this movie that you really need. Intro of the Maximoff twins, the creation of The Vision; War Machine and Falcon both officially join the Avengers. The Vision is actually very OP. He can adjust his density, so he can phase through solid objects or even people, or he can increase his density so high that he has super strength. Plus with the Mind Stone he can fire a powerful energy beam. Ordinary foes cannot hurt him since he can just make himself intangible and bullets, fists, energy beams all just whiff right through him.
'Prima Nocta' was from back in the medieval days, British monarchs had the legal right to come into town on somebody's wedding day and take the bride away for themselves for the night. Really disgusting, messed up law, just flexing power over the common people. The joke is on-brand for Tony, but I never found it funny. Otherwise though, THIS MOVIE TOTALLY ROCKS!!
@@seanmahoney2671 Well waddaya know, always thought it was. Great news. So you're telling me movies can be historically inaccurate?? What next, no Easter Bunny?!
There is little evidence (if any) of it being done during Norman or Saxon rule in England/Ireland/Scotland, it was a real thing though. It was practiced in some areas under Roman rule. There is also history of similar traditions with tribes and cultures in northern Africa.
Now that you've seen Endgame, Major, coming back here and seeing the vision Scarlet Witch shows Tony with everyone dead and Capt. asking him why didn't he do more... Tony doing what he did at the end of Endgame makes even more sense, doesn't it? It's good foreshadowing and story telling across the movies!
I personally liked Age of Ultron. I am a big fan of James Spader- voice of Ultron. Fun fact- Robert Downey Jr. and James Spader starred together in an ‘80s movie called “Less than Zero”.
i'm from brazil and i'm addicted to ur videos! i need keep watching with u Stranger Things and Marvel movies. And if i could only wish a react i wish i could see u react to The Walking Dead series. It would be the best thing 🤩❤🥰 lov u major 🤟🏻😘
@16:00, Prima Nocta or first night is a feudal lord’s supposed right to sleep with a woman under his dominion. This was done the first night after her wedding. It was a major plot point to the Mel Gibson movie Braveheart.
This is one of my favorite MCU movies!! The hate is undeserved. Although I'm biased because Quicksilver is my favorite marvel character 😂 Loved the reaction!
The MCU fanbase is interesting. It’s super big, diverse and filled with very opinionated folks (for better and worse). My opinion is watch every movie and form your own opinion before reading into other’s opinions. I really think there is only one (maybe two) first watch universally loved MCU project(s). Every other has its lovers and haters at least on first watch. But that universally loved one though…chef kiss
Pietro/Quicksilver is fast, but nowhere near Barry Allen fast... for almost all superheroes, Marvel's power levels are generally more realistic and less over the top than DC's. Quicksilver in the comics could originally run a few hundred miles per hour. Later, on his maximum speed increased to roughly the speed of sound (Mach 1) which was his level for about 30 years.
some of the back story for this movie doesn't even happen in the mcu proper. agents of shield does the helicarrier in season 2, coulson is put into charge of restoring the helicarrier for fury and calls in the avengers.
This came out around the time flash season 2 was released. When Barry’s max speed was Mach 3.3, This version of quicksilver was faster, being at Mach 4.
In the first Avengers, they didn't have to explain Loki because you were already introduced to him in Thor. Ultron did not get the benefit of that, so his story got truncated, which is sad. Although Ultron is horrible, the tragic thing is that he never had a choice in becoming a genocidal maniac. He was programmed with a prime directive to bring about world peace, but he quickly realized that he could only achieve that if he got rid of the thing that keeps ending the peace, namely humanity. For all that he has free will, he didn't really have a choice when it came to genocide. In the comics, one of the things that makes him interesting is that many of his criticisms of humanity are incredibly accurate. Long after you've put the comic book down, you find yourself thinking about what he said. The other thing that separates him from the usual "AI gone bad" trope is that for all that he hates humans, he never seems to notice that he shares some of our worst flaws, which may be the most human thing about him. Two things to remember about Ultron: he always comes back, and he's more powerful every time he comes back. You'll see the ultimate nightmare version of him in What If.
Everyone loves the X-Men version of Pietro Maximoff better because he had amazing action sequences in the X-Men movies, but I think the Marvel version got the exact mix of heroic and arrogant jerk exactly right. You are correct. Hawkeye is accumulating some serious injuries. Not everyone notices that. He's the only Avenger who is a completely unmodified human. You'll find out more about the price he paid for being a hero in the TV show.
Excited for this one! Hey Major idk if you watch any animated series or if you've already seen it but if you're looking for ideas you should definitely try and give Avatar the last airbender a shot. It's the best animated series that's ever been released and honestly one of my all time favorite show. It has a pretty huge following as well so that's always good. Peace out have a nice day
This is definitely an older video, and it may be even older if you already have, but a great movie to check out along AI is "I Robot" (Will Smith). I highly recommend it!

I never noticed that either, where was Tony during the part with the cradle?? But also i feel like, had he been there, maybe Nat wouldn't have been caught, then Clint wouldn't have know where she was, then it could have been too late before they found Ultron, then at that point vision would be the last person on earth, if it survives, because im assuming Ultron wouldent create something that wouldn't be able to withstand what he had planned for the future. So, had Tony been there, earth would have died. In my opinion.
@25:10, Pietro is nowhere near as fast as Barry Allen. There is no Speed Force in the Marvel Universe. For Barry Allen the speed of light is him just kidding warmed up.
