Craig's Kitchen - Fall Off The Bone Ribs (in the oven)

  • It's the easiest way to get tender ribs that melt in your mouth. These ribs will fall off of the bone. You won't need a knife, just your fingers and lots of napkins.

    Making them right now. My only complaint is not having temp and time in description so I have to click around trying to find them once I decided I was going to follow yours. :P Cook Time 3.5 hours at 275 and broil is 5 minutes. I do appreciate the video though. :)

    Really late comment, first off love the video! Not to get too technical here but you don't want the bone to fall out. A lot of people say you gotta have "fall off the bone" ribs, but that means they are over cooked. You want them to still stay on the bone, but pull off with no tug. I would say, instead of 3 1/2 hours at 275 degrees maybe cook them 3 hours then. Or lower the temp to 250 degrees. That way they won't be shredded pork when they come out. Also, helpful tip for anybody having problems pulling the membrane off, use a butter knife instead. It's way easier and Craig you are right to use a paper towel to pull it off as it will provide maximum gripping power. Awesome video though for those that don't want to or can't smoke ribs outside!

      I agree. I wonder if keeping them in foil the entire time had anything to do with it also. He essentially steamed them.

      I just followed your recipe to the T and ribs came out perfect!! Definitely not over cooked!! I’m sure he meant to be able to pull out meat with out tugging it. Or having a hard time! Cooked mine for 3.5 on 275 and they are perfection! Thank you Craig 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

    Oh my god, Craig.....my father happened to come across your video this summer and decided to give it a go. First we used Baby Ray's BBQ sauce and this time we tried the King's Hawaiian with Pineapple. Both times, they came out sooooooooooo delicious. If people are watching this video now and unsure--DO IT! Follow these directions, you won't look back. Fall off the bone super moist every time. If anyone doubts ribs couldn't be as enjoyable without a BBQ grill, try this seriously. Delicious! :)

    Personally, I would want the meat to stick to the bone some. I like to eat mine like corn on the cob or wings, so I don't want the meat constantly falling off. Not sure about where you live, but here you can get rib meat with the bones already out way cheaper if you prefer using a fork. Regardless the ribs look tasty which matters most.

    275 F for 3 1/2 hours! I never learned about pork ribs but have always boiled them, then baked on the sauce or grilled it on. NOW I get how to make them, and it's much simpler your way! I recently found out after almost 40 years of cooking from scratch that FOIL is to be turned shiny side toward the food, and it is supposed to cook better heat wise this way. I have always loved the taste of ribs since I was a young girl. Nice Video !!

    • @CraigTube
      @CraigTube  8 лет назад +4

      +notellyearight1 Cheers! About the foil... I contacted ALCAN, one of the biggest foil makers here, and they said that it doesn't matter which way you place the foil on. They said that it's only shinier on one side because of the roller that presses it. The roller is very smooth and that gives the foil a shinier look on that side, but they said that it cooks the same no matter which way you put it on. :)

    Haha, the wings thing cracked me up! I'm guessing that's David keeping you on the ball there. Fantastic Craig's Kitchen! Loved it, also I might add to those looking for that smoked flavor you get from slow smoking ribs, when I lived in an apartment and no access to a smoker I did this same thing here but added liquid smoke to my BBQ sauce. That stuff is magical, you would swear it had just spent 10hrs in a smoker. Thanks Craig!
