I just bought a Last Call Scat Pack RT Pitch Black on Black and a 2019 Scat Pack RT Pitch Black on Red Wide Body as my daily driver with 10K miles. I'm a Chevelle SS 396 old school type of a guy have 4 of them, however I enjoy the Scat Packs just as much for the modern conveniences and just as much a head turner as my 1969 Chevelles SS. Thank you Dodge!! Never owned a Dodge before!!!
Love the spec (coming from another black challenger scat pack owner). To avoid water spots and having to clean it every couple days, I’d suggest buying a ceramic coating from Sudzbox called “Accelerate ceramic spray wax.” One layer of that and it’ll last you a good 6 months. Water beads, looks sick in the rain, and dirt won’t stick to it. If it looks dirty, simply just wash it off with water and dry it. Keeps your paint protected and looking like new. (I am not sponsored by sudz I just really like their product)
I daily drive my Scatpack Widebody and it puts a smile on my face every time I start it up. I also have a small SUV for bad weather so It sits in the garage if there is snow, ice, or severe storms.
Very professional review brother. Thanks 🙏. You seemed to know your car very well and that’s important. I have a 2020 Challenger R/T and am thinking about the Wide Body Scar Pack that I spotted in Italy. That car would be fun as hell here in Germany too brother! Any way thanks for your review.
Congrats! I can't rock that color though. I like to generally be under the radar and gold is a bit much for me. I'd prefer Destroyer Gray or Smoke Show.
That just means that the V6 is pretty nice too. I have both a ‘19 SXT AWD and a ‘21 Scat Pack (in my avatar pic). I like that they’re similar inside, although the Scat has nicer stitching on the interior, better seats (beefier side bolsters, and a better cloth material), and the controls like the turn signal do feel stiffer.
@@rockhopper01 you’d think since you’re paying quite I bit more v6 to scat it would be a little nicer that’s all ( yes ur paying for the engine but) .The stitching and seats in those are nice I’m talking about the knobs /buttons they just seem very basic like a Nissan Sentra lol I love the challenge either way
How tail happy is it without the wider tires that come with the Widebody? Also, did you get those all season mats from your local Dodge dealer or did you have to buy them aftermarket?
Not a widebody but it definitely slid real easy in the rain with just a hair of throttle! Thought I would need a new pair of shorts for work a few times hahaha. The all season mats came from the dealer with the car, but I don't remember if it was an option or not from the window sticker.
Sure thing! I loved the Challenger, but it wasn't ideal for my current financial situation. It was something that we realized after a few months of thinking we could "make it work" that it really just wasn't working. That's why I went back into a truck. I also missed the utility of having a pickup truck as a homeowner. Definitely nothing to do with the Challenger itself, besides the cost!
No snow in South Carolina. I know I definitely slid the back end out on some rainy days though very easily! As with any RWD sports car I would say it’s doable in the snow if you are cautious but only up to a certain amount of snow.
@@ohadzic6377 yeah they lose traction pretty often on pavement. So in the snow it’s super bad. But I have 3 other cars so I have other options but this is my most fun car, lol.
I believe the 2014 RT is an AWD hemi. BUT! The SXT's and GT's are a v6 AWD, and when they are in AWD mode, they burn gas like a V8. So I don't know if we really wanna daily an AWD Scat or Hellcat. That said, the Hellcat Trackhawk, Durango, and TRX are AWD. Don't know their fuel economy exactly but I'm sure its pretty bad 😄
Get a gt awd still has 300 hp enough for daily driving and waists less gas then the rt I wouldn’t consider a 392 a daily driver car literally guzzles gas
I have a GT AWD and I love it. But sometimes she's lacking the power and speed that I crave when I'm doing some spirited driving and racing in Mexico. Of course this means I can only race cars that I know are in the same league. Cars that i know are obviously faster, I don't even bother and it sucks sometimes cuz I wanna dust some of these fools in their RT's and Mustangs, flexing on me. Hell I've been flexed on by Subaru STI's which I know are faster.
They are super solid! I recently traded the car in for a Nissan Frontier and actually thought the brakes on the truck needed to be bled because of how squishy they felt! Those 4 piston brakes will stop you real good

Chevy Guy here too . Would love a newer Camaro but 3 kids makes me think a Challenger is easier to live with.

Finally, someone who review the back seat
I liked the comments about dad's and kids with car seats.
So many people don't talk about these everyday utility pieces!
"Dodge, the brotherhood of muscle"
Best review of the scat pack I’ve every seen
Thanks!
I know you are having fun everytime you drive it. Just test driving the challenger scat was fun one day I will own one.

I appreciate that!
that's a clean machine!!! Love it man!! Get some armor all on those wheels!!
Great video. I had a basic 2019 rt 6speed it was nice but after a yr I got me a scatpack love this car merry Christmas 🎅
Just got my 2020 50th anniversary scatpack gold rush.
Congrats! I can't rock that color though. I like to generally be under the radar and gold is a bit much for me.

I really dig that color!
Finally not a widebody looks so genial
my 2020 scat came with 275 all around. I can't imagine driving with the 245's. I don't have the wide body either, but I do want 305's
I daily mine de-badged with a 6-speed manual.
I love the challenger but for the scat you'd think they would make the knobs/controls a little nicer looking ...its ice exactly a base v6 here
That just means that the V6 is pretty nice too. I have both a ‘19 SXT AWD and a ‘21 Scat Pack (in my avatar pic). Aye I see you got yours from rick hendrick, thats a good place no BS. I got my 2018 scat pack from them rick hendrick in west ashley
I know the pain of trying to keep the daily driver clean. Can't seem to win with this rain we've been having lately..still love my Scat though
5th sub😎 nice video keep em coming
Thanks!

Awesome detailed video. Thank you.
Beautiful car

Thank you!
Earned a sub.+like! Love it!
Thanks for the sub!
Did you make a comment a month ago about “ Trading the car for a Nissan Frontier “ ? If so , what made you make that choice ? Let me know Thank you

beautiful car i have a 2020 widebody, i daily mine as well haha. great cars imo love mine!!!!
Do you get any snow where you live. I wanna do the same except don't know how Challenger would do in snow.
No snow in South Carolina. I know I definitely slid the back end out on some rainy days though very easily! As with any RWD sports car I would say it’s doable in the snow if you are cautious but only up to a certain amount of snow.
It slides in dry pavement here in Florida 😬 I should know I have one of them 😬

is the slight tick that you hear in the wheel well normal on these hemis? @21:35
💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Would love to daily drive this, but I live in central New York, these are summer cars around here 😄.
Reasons why I wish Dodge would build a trim that has a Hemi and AWD!

@@GoodKong.BadKong lol slap a turbo on it or a supercharger a bigger intake or any other few mods u will have a v6 beast
Hey, I'd love to see a Subaru WRX video. :)
Stay tuned…
Hey great vid, how do those 4 piston brembos perform?
They are super solid! I recently traded the car in for a Nissan Frontier and actually thought the brakes on the truck needed to be bled because of how squishy they felt! Those 4 piston brakes will stop you real good
must be nice not to get snow
That Tree smells like MURIKA! Sorry I couldn't resist. 😏
My broke ass could only afford a 5.7
5.7 no joke
At least you don’t have V6
