  • Step by step walk through on how to install the disc brake conversion on our 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix.
    Will work on other Pontic models of the same year like Catalina and Bonnevile . The concept is the same.

    Overall it is a very well put together kit. The main issue was the left caliper had damage and it was missing the Banjo bolts for the brake hose.
    I contacted the seller TomsClassic to see if they would replace. Waiting to hear back.

    Do you know what caliper and rotor this kit uses for when things wear out? Nice video, thanks.

    Instead of banging on the adapter and possibly damaging it, or the spindle, heat it in the oven (or use a torch). It will expand and then just slid on. Hold in place with a block of wood until it cools enough to hold (don't use water to cool it). Try 350F for 20 minutes. Heat with torch to remove.

    Quit buying cheap no name parts and you wouldn't have this problem
