Root A kaneki joined the aogiri, which doesn't make sense copared to what happened in the manga, and that ending with Hide on his arms, the ending that we thought Kaneki ate Hide and he appears with Arima's weapon in his eyes made the story in a suspense and dark feeling that was amazing. With the Root A ending people wouldn't suspect of Haise, people already knew it was Kaneki. Root A by far was the biggest error in my opinion...

Actually he got trained by Arima and he fought side by side with him for a while. So Haise's mindset is weaker for fighting, but his skill has increased and so did his power in general. I would say Haise is stronger, but like I said his mindset doesn't allow him to be as brutal and dangerous as white hair Kaneki. (I don't know if there was an information, which is only manga exclusive) :) But maybe you could speculate about the RC suppressors.

Yeah I thought that too at first but in the anime everyone that has Rize's kagune has their hair turned white regardless of their mental state, and people with Rize's kagune have an abnormally high rc level so I think it has something to do with that

Also dragon wasn't really his, you can't say that he was the dragon. He was more of a host to it, and the power he gain after they took him out was much bigger. Dragon was giant yes, could murder many people just to his size, while Ken could kill half of those people at size of a human
Please, do yourself a favor and at least, on every episode read the manga side by side as well. The anime is really disappointing, especially after season 1. I've started reading the manga since 2018 (the final episode of the entire series), and I've come to the conclusion that I have seen NOTHING. The adaption is more than unhonourable for the complex & twisted story of Tokyo ghoul, and I am sure everyone out there that HAS a perception of both anime and manga will agree.
I thought the current kaneki in the anime is when he got extracted from the dragon and he fought the person that killed Rize ( full power kagune is what I’m referring to )

FRRR RIGHT WHEN I WATCHED THE FIRST EPISODE OF S3 i knew it was downhill from there. tbh the ending of S2 (even tho it would’ve made me sad if it ended just right there) was honestly sm better than S4 and in between. there were some parts to the :re where i was happy they continued the show, like the fighting parts (even tho they made like no sense it was just cool to see the animation and interaction), but overall :re was kinda trash.
Actually, season two is what wasn’t supposed to have been made, barely any of it is canonical except for the fight with aogiri and ccg where arima claps kaneki

Rize had stronger cells than any other ghouls in the manga it's why Kaneki became SO powerful super quick, how he got literally stronger with each meal. Kaneki is essentially Half of Rize.

At the end of the anime (and one other moment but I forgot) Kaneki was called the Shinigami (Death's angel), in this form, he have two large majestic white wings with reflections of all colors as a prism, and it shines bright white. It's his most powerful form of all the anime.

Please, do yourself a favor and at least, on every episode read the manga side by side as well. The anime is really disappointing, especially after season 1. I've started reading the manga since 2018 (the final episode of the entire series), and I've come to the conclusion that I have seen NOTHING. The adaption is more than unhonourable for the complex & twisted story of Tokyo ghoul, and I am sure everyone out there that HAS a perception of both anime and manga will agree.

season 2 was good and like the first half of season 3 aswell, after that it just gets extremely confusing because theres always random new characters and places that make no sense

FRRR RIGHT WHEN I WATCHED THE FIRST EPISODE OF S3 i knew it was downhill from there. tbh the ending of S2 (even tho it would’ve made me sad if it ended just right there) was honestly sm better than S4 and in between. there were some parts to the :re where i was happy they continued the show, like the fighting parts (even tho they made like no sense it was just cool to see the animation and interaction), but overall :re was kinda trash.
