If there's one thing One Piece got extremely inconsistent, it's character heights. One time Whitebeard is only twice as tall as Luffy in Marineford, the next he's supposed to be 4x as tall as him.
Great video, using a different art style is a great choice since One Piece's art style changes a lot during the series and it would end up with characters looking very different from eachother. The animation makes it do much better too.
Believe it man. Go back to Punk Hazard at the scene when they finally reform all of Kin'emon's body parts together. I. That scene Brook comments on how tall he is and you get to see how big he is compared to Brook (who is of similar height) and Zoro who looked like a midgit compared to them.
