- Coming to Kickstarter November 21 at 18:00 GMT, Horizon Forbidden West: Seeds of Rebellion is a cooperative campaign board game for 1-4 players set in the mysterious Forbidden West.
As Marshals, you’ve been appointed by Chief Hekarro to investigate reports of Tenakth-on-Tenakth violence. Little do you know that a rebellion is taking root in the dark corners of this frontier. While you investigate, you must contend with the colossal machines that roam this deadly territory. Can you weed out insurgent activity before more unnecessary Tenakth blood is shed?

I miss the original tiles but the book is more convenient for most people. I will back this so I can use the new monsters as expansions in the OG game

@SteamforgedGames please design the box(es) in a way that the cards fit in even with sleeves on them.
My body is ready. I hope they have expansions for all the machines. So far we've only seen Slitherfang, Tremortusk, and Raptor machine whose name I forget. I wanna see a Slaughterspine and Plesiosaur model

Guys at Steamforged, are you considering giving an option to buy HFB Board game for those who (like me) missed the original kickstater? I would like to know so I can start preparing for getting a second mortgage on my house :))))
Looks great but yeah not keen on the spiral bound board.
Me neither but I get it though. Tiles can be a nightmare to store if there's loads

Don't worry, we've put a lot of R&D hours into the ring-bound books and we're extremely confident they deliver a better, more varied and streamlined gameplay experience than the alternates. They also add a LOT of additional replayability, and allow us to translate much more of the vibrant HFW environment to the tabletop, which is a nice bonus!
@@Steamforged does this not equate to smaller arenas? Smaller encounters? Just looking at it from the perspective of having only played the first game. The board layouts were huge and varied quite a bit depending on things like number of players and of course whichever encounter was chosen.
After kickstarter, will we be able to pledge on gamefound ?

There will be a list of all the countries we ship to on the Kickstarter page when we launch, but a lot of Europe is on the list :)

Will we be able to play as Aloy? The first kickstarter only included Aloy in an exclusive kickstarter stretch goal box. So it's imposible to find now and that means you can't even play the game with Aloy. The dumbest move which has prevented me from buying and enjoying the board game.
Even with the kickstarter exclusives the only way to play as aloy is to do one of two narrative scenarios. You can’t play the actual board game as her, she can just pop in basically as a cameo in your game. The whole point of this one is to see what’s going on in the forbidden west before she gets there so I doubt she’ll be included

Why is Sony of all companies doing a Kickstarter? Just pay for the game yourselves y'all ain't no small independent company pay for your own damn board game development.

@@Steamforged as constructive feedback, I like what your company is doing with games like Euthia, but when it comes to games like Horizon, you pump these shallow games up too much, relying on brand recognition to make sales. You are degrading the quality of your reputation as a result. Please refocus on true quality first and foremost.
