      Agreed, I had really expected after I used it for awhile the edge wouldn't hold up, but I'd say if anything it's only slightly duller than my Benchmade would be over a similar period of time and use. I just wish US knife manufacturers could make something similar at a comparable price point and made in the USA. I understand manufacturing cost are higher here, but even at $40-$60 if it was made in the USA I'd still rather pay that.

    Maybe a toothy edge would do better on the strapping.

      I agree, it's actually one of the reasons my daily carry Benchmade is half serrated. Of the many things I've had to cut in a hurry lifting and tow straps have been one of the toughest with a straight edge and I have found that in those situations the serrated edge is preferred.
