Honestly, me in my early 20’s would have had my ass at that cabin without hesitation! Nobody would’ve been able to track my Razr flip phone, and my booty cheeks would’ve been a goner! 😂😂💀
Yes! Kill the bad guy when the chance presents itself. I liked the film but rolled my eyes so hard when they just knocked him unconscious for a nanosecond and then tried to escape. I did enjoy watching them pummel him though. Yet, that would not have been necessary had they ended him the first time around.
@@nikitamohanan2124 Probably, but this is the recipe for many movies not just this one. The killer almost always has a second chance at catching their victim because the victim/captive/hostage never finishes the job, even if there life is in jeopardy. Meaning their survival depends on it. Besides, the audience would not kick up dust over the killer (especially this one) being killed by his victims. I’m sure I’m not the only person who was relieved that they followed through in the end. I agree that Noa was foolhardy. I got a goof-troop vibe from her anyway, though.
Mollie is the best part of the movie 👏👏👏👏 yes!!!!! It was realistic because a real friend would definitely notice by texting and would investigate the situation especially with not getting a call. Also the note in the magazine that Noa read. I think that was Ann and she became his wife, because her leg was missing . But I’m 🤔 what do you think?
Yes! Mollie was the real MVP and also the only person Noa really had since Noa's mother wasn't in her life and her father passed away. But I don't think the note was from Ann, the note in the magazine was signed by someone with a different name something like "Akbar", I forget now but if you look back at the scene you can see the name. Also when Noa looked at the photos of the women in the boxes with their personal belongings you can see that girl's name which indicated that she probably fought like hell but in the end was completely harvested for her meat aka. killed
Whenever I watch or read about a movie involving cannibalism as the main theme, I can only think of one man, one show - Mads Mikkelsen in "Hannibal" (of course, "Silence of the Lambs" dances around the theme). Loved your review today, and especially loved Nick's Elizabeth Taylor/Cleopatra t-shirt. Classic!
Sebastian Stan does a great job as Tommy Lee in Pam & Tommy. They change his face so doesn’t look weird. Should check it out it’s a surprisingly good story & it’s true 🤯
This was a fun one! I think it could have leaned a little more into its dark comedy aspects and I agree with you about that point at the end, but otherwise I thought it was pretty solid. I'm not familiar with Daisy Edgar Jones but I look forward to more from her, as she was great here. Nice review as always!
I did not like the one where he was a DJ or something in Greece. The name of it was Monday. He falls in love or lust with this skinny chic with short blonde hair. The story just didn’t go anywhere for me. He was good but it didn’t make any sense to me. What those characters saw in each other was lacking imo.
im throwing the steak in my fridge away after watching this. I kind of understand the point they were trying to make of a million dollar industry keeping live beings captive for fresher meat quality of creeps with money. even the fact that he kept the belongings on a wall, the same way we do with deer heads, to feel "closer to the animal".
Hello! If someone drugged me, cut off a piece of me, chained me up, fed me other people...best believe if I got the chance, it's me or you and I like me.
I seem to remember a Twilight Zone (I think) episode with Peter Lorre who played a character with a little finger guillotine. He threatened a woman with it, terrorised her. Then was interrupted by his wife who wore gloves, three fingers missing. Had the same crazy trapped feeling as Fresh.
When we see the wife's prosthetic and missing foot, I was like Damn! I wonder if Noa never escaped and chose to stay, if he would have stopped selling her meat and have her live alongside his wife or keep her further unharmed as his lover. He was really into Noa and didn't answer his wife's missing calls or text messages when he was having dinner with Noa
Love y'all's reviews!! I just got done watching and loved it!! Y'all's reviews are allways on point!! Wonder if Armie has watched yet........let's hope not!!!!❤️❤️💋
Just finished this movie and to me it was a combination of Hostel and Get Out. While I enjoyed it, it felt very unfinished and there were so many missed opportunities that could've been explored, the wife's missing leg, the cannibalism organization, the bartender etc...
Wow, this flick sounds like chaos and yes, I had to rewind the intro because of Nick rolling the 'R' in 'Fresh' lol Tell Aggie to stop being cute for a minute and go get some lozenges + pho because that soup will help kick that Ms. Rona Virus cough. Thank you so much for the review!!
First video I'm watching of you guys, love your vibe. But, Hold up, In what universe is that place unbelievable? We're talking the 1% of the 1%, like these people are so wealthy they can find and vet the people that build these types of things and are paid millions to stay quiet. that's nothing to people who are that wealthy. I just watched the film so I may still be a little riled lol🤪 the whole thing made my stomach turn but a good flick for sure.
When they mentioned the 1% it reminded me of how in Squid Game they had the 1% literally getting away with massive bloodshed just for entertainment and had been doing it for many years and never been caught. I think in Fresh, it just shows how the wealthy can get and do whatever they wants and keep it a secret if they use the right connections and keep the right people quiet
I don’t take Stan too seriously as a real actor but I’m glad Disney is letting him venture out into new roles. As for the movie based on the trailer and this review I can’t wait. Feel better guys and make sure you’re both taking time to rest.
You should. He’s fantastic. I hate that people don’t take him seriously. He has a degree in arts and acting and he studied abroad for theatre in London and he did Broadway for a few years. He loves his craft and it’s heartbreaking that people don’t take him seriously or see his worth.
Thanks for the review ... interesting. I always think of Hopkins then of course Mad as Hannibal ... how watchable they were ... but it's so gross. ewww :) I will check it out.
That house was everything that I would want but I would never want to be in that house by myself I don't know how to better describe it it was beautiful but it was scary Even without this being the story line
This movie has every single trope from every single Lifetime channel movie. Based on the title and the opening scene, I predicted basically every plot point from then on. It’s getting a lot of great reviews-I’m starting to question whether I’m the only horror fan who cringe-watches Lifetime or if horror critics have not seen too many Lifetime movies. But yeah, this is probably the most predictable new horror I’ve seen in the last few years.
This movie is so fucking bad that I thought about turning it off 15 in. I gave it a chance and watched until the finale. Movie audiences are getting more dumb by the day. Fucking terrible. You want to see some movies that puts this crap to shame? Try,The French version of Martyrs,The Japanese film Audition,or just go to House of the Devil! All the movies you listed are awesome. Ive seen them all. But this was very entertaining and not bad at all. It doesn’t mean you get to insult people who enjoyed it. It’s all subjective. There isn’t a right or wrong here.
I really loved this movie. It was unsettling yet fun. I think Sebastian Stan is wonderful.
Honestly, me in my early 20’s would have had my ass at that cabin without hesitation! Nobody would’ve been able to track my Razr flip phone, and my booty cheeks would’ve been a goner! 😂😂💀
💀
Lmaoooo
Is it horrible that I laughed so hard? ☠
Same girl, same 😅😅
Lmao!!! Thinking back 🤔...Same unfortunately lol...
Glad to see people finally give Stan a chance. He’s always been something special.
Their chemistry took this movie to just another level! Loved the performances
i agree they were both so engaging. great acting.
Thank you. One of the rare spoiler reviews I could find on here. I don't see the point of spoiler-free reviews they're frustrating to me lol
Yes! Glad you’re both starting to feel better! Missed you guys!

I think the 30 minute intro was a narrative choice. The movie started as soon as the romcom illusion ended
It's funny how on one of his early dates with Noa, they're having takeout and he's like, "I don't eat meat." When in fact he eats "special" meat.
He actually said he doesn’t eat animals, which yes also implies he eats humans instead!
He said he did not eat animal meat.
This film was total camp, love it. The title sequence happening midway through the movie reminded me of Gaspar Noe’s Climax
This should have been a series. Seriously. over way too fast. So much could have been explored.

@@miamichelleabad5821 I didn’t notice the personal effects I will have to rewatch it
Yeah it was written by another victim called Sami Akbari

Not the bootycheek😭
best reviewers. no bs. direct to the point and pure honesty.
I love this! Definitely need to watch this ASAP!
I will never look at the herbs in my fridge the same way again

i, tonya?
I love Sebastian Stan

Got to watch this. Really enjoyed it. Thanks for the review too!!!
Looking forward to watching it. I don't have a problem with spoilers. Thanks, guys!
Hello! If someone drugged me, cut off a piece of me, chained me up, fed me other people...best believe if I got the chance, it's me or you and I like me.
Thank you for the resume!
Loved this movie. The social commentary was really strong. So much so that it reminded me of a promising young woman.
Noa's ruse worked because he met his wife the same way.
When we see the wife's prosthetic and missing foot, I was like Damn! I wonder if Noa never escaped and chose to stay, if he would have stopped selling her meat and have her live alongside his wife or keep her further unharmed as his lover. This sounds intriguing, but I might be too wimpy!!
I love both shirts, and another cameo from the kitty!!!!
Quick cameo by the naked cat 🐈
Not one I'll be visiting. Thanks for the heads-up.
I couldn't stop thinking how much Stan looks like Scott Wolf in this!! They should play twins! 😱
attitude attitude attitude lol I love these reviews 😂

hu?
Sounds like it's giving "Get Out" remixed here with cannibalism...I am game and will check it out...🤔
so u say Sebastian isn't charming enough for the role? Dude, u're lost.
Yes he looks so much like mark hamill now that you mention it!
I think the reason why they didn’t kill him right away 1. Suspense 2. To show the girls are completely innocent 😇

Ready for Batman! I know y'all saw it today.
You guys are right, Jojo is the best part of the movie.
I am very happy that covid is not making you guys suffer too much. It would be a sad day if you guys weren't here for us.
In japan a real cannibal had it's own cooking show
I’m intrigued.

There is an interview with a real cannibal on youtube, his name is Armin Meiwes, he tells you everything about human meat and how it tastes.
That house was everything that I would want but I would never want to be in that house by myself I don't know how to better describe it it was beautiful but it was scary Even without this being the story line
I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to gore in movies but am keen to check this out. How gory is it? Do we see limbs, etc. being cut off?
You don’t see him cutting them off, but you do see him carving the meat off the bone once the limb has been removed.
Have you ever given a film 5 stars?
Yes
I would love to watch a movie with y'all! Lol. I thought the same thing about this guy Sabastian! He seems to over act! I liked the girls alot!
I want to see this
Dang. Sounds kinda yummy, but coulda been delicious!😛
I think Sebastian Stan did great, i love how you dont refer to him as the character name and instead yall go "sebastian stans character"
