I literally told my friend ago this looks like the movie that Channing Tatum and Ryan Reynolds randomly would cameo in. SO IM JUST SAYING I MIGHT BE A GENIUS
I'll be honest. I look forward to seeing your reviews pop up to movies, many of which, I've never heard of. I enjoy all of the side notes and inticacies you give to the films you review. You should have so many more subs
"This narrative is as straight as the train track itself" spoken like a true reviewer Nick. "HE looked like a twist sponge dipped in lotion" AHAHAHA I fuckin love you Joseph
I just watched another review of this movie yesterday, and I kept wondering what you guys would think of the movie! I appreciate that you guys don't go with the popular opinion. You guys are authentic and I hope you always stay that way, even when you gain a million subscribers!
I 💜 Nick's JC tshirt! Very much enjoy all of your film reviews. Find myself agreeing with you guys about instances of 'unbelievably' in so many films due to lazy script writing or poor acting. Look forward to your perspectives/reviews always!
I’m not gonna lie, I was one of those people that was like oh my god this movie is gonna be so amazing. And I thought that it was after watching it. But after listening to Nick and Joseph’s review, I'm kind of questioning all my life choices😅😅. I feel like I’m being called out😂.
Thank you for another incredible review. But I suspect I’ll be one of those that enjoy it 😂😂. That’s the beauty of art (no matter how shallow it may be)👍👍
At our screening, for the first time ever in a theater we’ve been to, there were both men and women booing Joey King’s character. This was her biggest roll & she should’ve either asked for a rewrite or said no to doing this movie, she’s just a character you hate, sadly. She sets female empowerment back…. oh about forty years. Plus having Karen Fukuhara-The Boys- & NOT having her do any action, which clearly she’s amazing at, was a huge waste too. This movie was a mess & the RT score is right on the money. Should’ve been a Netflix movie. Lastly Brad Pitt isn’t even in the movie much, most of his roll is in the trailers, except maybe 10% & that’s why we took the passes to see it, so keep in mind this is not a Brad Pitt, as a main character, movie… sorry. Also love the channel, found it recently & love your spoiler reviews👍🏼 did like the Reynolds cameo though.
Why can't female characters be villains though? Yes, she wasn't my fave character but I still thought the actress held her own among the other stars of the film. I'd also disagree with the comment about Brad Pitt. He's the conduit for everything happening and is very much the centre of the story with the other supporting cast serving interesting characters and storylines. It's a common structure for anime plotlines. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure comes to mind. And the source material is a Japanese novel.
@@DashPari ALL of my favorite villains or anti-villains are female. I never said she couldn’t be a villain. What people are upset about is how she uses her, “oh please I’m just a little girl, don’t hurt me” bs to get her way. But good try
@@DashPari Women can definitely be villians, the thing is that she wasn't a good villian! makes total sense for her to use her standing a seemingly innocent little girl. Everyone underestimated her for it and it worked because that happens a lot in real life She was a weak character though. She was "strong" throughout and did so much so she could get to her dad but then when she finally faces him turns out she has daddy issues that lead to her crying in front of him and begging for his love and approval -_-
"Just consistent fighting" ;D Loved your description of everything! LOL! *"So, he's just mad at everybody."* Not a "fan" of Brad Pitt, but, somehow have at one time seen a bunch of movies with him in it. So, ahhh, thank you for another helpful/informative review.
Joey King reminds me of Chloe Grace Moretz because regardless of how well they may act, their super cutesy faces makes it hard for me to take them seriously
I've been waiting for this movie forever ... I can't wait. Nick, your comment, "trying to make the Fredrick Douglas hairdo look chic", absolutely broke me. Looking for train movies, don't forget the fabulous "The Taking of Pelham 123" - the original from 1974 and the 2009 remake. Your review was terrific! I was hoping you would do this one soon, but I still must see it. Hey, it's Brad Pitt!
As always, thank you! I love your videos, and everytime I watch, kind of feels like hanging out with you guys. I could listen to you two talk for days. You are both so intelligent and funny. It's a joy watching. Nick, I've noticed several of your cinema T shirts. Where do you get them, or who are the by? Cheers! P.S , I studied at UNLV. Joseph didn't you go there?
Good review cuz it’s a tough movie to explain lol People were clapping towards the end in my theater. It was sort of fun for me but my disbelief wasn’t exactly suspended. I liked smokin aces so I sort of liked this.
I just love you guys! We saw this today knowing it was straight up popcorn movie and i was there for it. Brad Pitt is always a pleasure! It’s a good ride, but yes, entirely forgettable once you leave the theater
HOLD ON ONE SECOND!!!!! You didn’t tell us you have a cameo in this movie!!!! You’re wearing masks but you’re obviously the two henchmen arguing about opening the briefcase that get blown up.
The reason Lemon and Tangerine didn’t work is because there are so many families with multiple races in them there is nothing shocking. If they were like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito in Twins, that would have worked better. I agree Joey King thing didn’t work. I liked her pretending to be innocent to get the upper hand, but her motive just didn’t make much sense. None of the motives made much sense. I can say if the film were only about Lemonade and Orangecicle that would have been a good movie. They developed them really well in my opinion. They could have, IMO, been the beginning of a fun franchise.
I just discovered ur channel and I'm so happy! (As part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I appreciate y'all, and I also enjoy the dynamic u share!) U have a loyal subscriber my friends! Much love and support💪✌️💗
I was hoping Sandra Bullock & Brad Pitt would have screen time! The only part of The Lost City i sort of enjoyed was Pitt & Bullock chemistry. Wish this could have them together. Oh well, i think Sandra Bullock is wanting to retire from acting. Read that somewhere. Michael Shannon always plays roles that freak me out!!!
I loved this movie! I had so much fun! It even made me a little misty at times (Lemon and Tangerine). The girl was the worst part, and how they were trying to get us to believe she was late teens early twenties when she looked to be approaching 30 was beyond me.
He is not a god director He is a Zack Snyder ultra light Main stream action with boring plots Bad acting i get depressed its just cool facial expressions and no acting
Just a suggestion but if your faces on the intro logo were on same sides as you sit for the video, might make for a smoother transition from intro to content. Just a thought that occurred to me. Great channel am really enjoying the reviews.
i really don't feel like the pot was overly complex or anything, due to the presentation of it all... Everything in the movie had a great setup and pay-off that was very well documented throughout it all and it made perfect sense to me, whenever something happened as everything was properly established at some point in the movie. Each character had their purpose, their own goals, their backstory and their payoff in the end, which made it all feel satifying to watch. And the plot really isn't that complex, the only thing that's complex is the way how it all transpires, which I think, as said is very well established and shown, so that there is no confusion as to what is happening when, for what reason...

Get a lotto ticket, it's huge hahaha
You guys shouldn't worry about spoiling movies, I mean, that's why we're here for. It's right there in the title of every video 😉
Agreed, I personally watch movie reviews to review the whole movie. I think it's odd that people watch a movie review before watching the movie.
I love it when you begin with..” well I don’t have any notes…” 🤣
This movie was shot beautifully and that's about it. I had no connection to any of these characters and didn't care what happened to any of them.
Joseph's comparisons are always spot on and never fail to make me laugh lol
I'll be honest. I look forward to seeing your reviews pop up to movies, many of which, I've never heard of. I enjoy all of the side notes and inticacies you give to the films you review. You should have so many more subs
I have a big crush on Brian Tyree Henry and I loved him in this movie.
Agreed, Andrew Koji is a very handsome man! “The guy who looks like the crow.” 🤣🤣
I don't even like spoilers but I risk them and come here anyway because I just love watching you two and hearing your thoughts on the films! ❤️
"This narrative is as straight as the train track itself" spoken like a true reviewer Nick.
"HE looked like a twist sponge dipped in lotion" AHAHAHA I fuckin love you Joseph
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Outfitted like the vampire lestat 😂
I have friends that want to see this film this weekend.... hmmm lots of popcorn will be needed, I think.
The only reason to see this movie in the theater- special effects will fail on small screen. I agree with your review.
I've been on the bullet train! My parents sent me to Japan by myself when I was 13. 🇯🇵 Joseph, don't watch Snowpiercer, lol 💕💖
LMBO you guys made this movie sound hilarious. Not going to see it, but the review made it interesting. Thank you
I just watched another review of this movie yesterday, and I kept wondering what you guys would think of the movie!

love you guys thanks for the reviews keep em coming
Brad Armpit🙃
Great video! 🌞

Also Joseph’s notes on Sandra Bullock’s character’s hair and look are spot on😂😂
I'll watch this simply for Michael Shannon. He's quirky and interesting.
Thank you for another incredible review. But I suspect I’ll be one of those that enjoy it 😂😂. That’s the beauty of art (no matter how shallow it may be)👍👍
I’m still trying to figure out why lady bug attended the wolfs wedding
Another great review! Thanks for your honest opinion on these movies 🍿

“I hated her face.” 😂😂😂😂😂

i love listening to you guys..!! great review!😘👌
The movie sounds silly, will not be paying. Thank you 🤣🤣.
I would have guessed it was headed to 1.5. You surprised me!

Thomas the tank 😂
I loved this movie so much! Still love ur reviews tho!
Your comments about Sandra Bullock 🤣🤣 I wish she’d stop with the Botox on her face. She’s so beautiful and she’s starting to look creepy.
HOLD ON ONE SECOND!!!!! You didn’t tell us you have a cameo in this movie!!!! You’re wearing masks but you’re obviously the two henchmen arguing about opening the briefcase that get blown up.
Me describing every action movie. Lol

here as the cupie doll 😂
actually here as the Nubian twist sponge
not the planet of the apes 🤣😭
Most reviews have said it is crap moving at high speed…
I actually liked it, but I do wish it was more
Bullet train is one-dimensional yawn -
This movie was extremely exhausting to watch.
I just discovered ur channel and I'm so happy! (As part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I appreciate y'all, and I also enjoy the dynamic u share!) U have a loyal subscriber my friends! Much love and support💪✌️💗
- Just watched the movie and I didn't like it. I had hi hope but it wasn't enjoyable.
- The cinematography was good
How the Hell does Joey King keep getting rolls?? She's awful in every single thing I've seen her in. I mean good on her for getting that $$$ but damn
I have to agree. She just isn't that good of an actress but she has a great agent apparently🤣
Shade 🤣🤣🤣
I also have to agree: she was the worst part of the movie
She is awful in everything she’s in, I stg

Oh well, i think Sandra Bullock is wanting to retire from acting. Read that somewhere. Michael Shannon always plays roles that freak me out!!!
It looked stylish and fun....but I'm glad to see Pitt be in a flop.
I hate this style of snappy dialogue . It just feels like it’s trying so hard to be smart
This sounds to have The Mexican type vibes which is what I was hoping for
Grosse Pointe Blank is a better blend.
First. I thought this movie was okay, but the fight choreography was very soft.
One thing that was good in this movie is showing that Brad Pitt is still hot❤
I loved this movie! I had so much fun! It even made me a little misty at times (Lemon and Tangerine). The girl was the worst part, and how they were trying to get us to believe she was late teens early twenties when she looked to be approaching 30 was beyond me.
I know Deadpool was in the film
Definitely watching this movie
He is not a god director He is a Zack Snyder ultra light Main stream action with boring plots Bad acting i get depressed its just cool facial expressions and no acting
What is happening to Sandra FACE🤔
Facts! Loved her smoky eye tho
Ugh i was on the fence about this movie but after this review it sounds so boring!!
Just a suggestion but if your faces on the intro logo were on same sides as you sit for the video, might make for a smoother transition from intro to content. Just a thought that occurred to me. Great channel am really enjoying the reviews.
Man this movie sounds dreadful! Is it based on a Manga or something? I shall avoid it, I am tired of “assassin” movies.
Sounds like a blah kinda movie. Not sure if I'd wanna sit through the whole thing.
That’s you guys opinion but I enjoyed the movie I thought it was funny as hell🤪
Algorithm
Bojii
Dudes u have to do some of the Hindi movie reviews they r as badass as they come
They do actually say "Yakuza" twice in this film.
What a stupid movie
Finally a review I can agree with. Very boring movie.
i really don't feel like the pot was overly complex or anything, due to the presentation of it all...

Also Brian Tyree Henry did a great British accent. Alot of American actors aren’t great at that
Seems like poor casting like that Amazon movie Bliss.
Honestly, not really interested in this, just waiting for John Wick 4 and here for you guys as always💯❤
