    Imagine if for NSO they released the game but with the option to compress or uncompress the music.

    This is honestly how it sounded to me when I was 8 years old. I was blown away the GBA could sound that good. Little did I know, it could have sounded so much better, like this! I love the video 😊

    This is how you fucking remake a great soundtrack

    This is the BEST remade song for any Metroid game.

    How did you manage to make these? Which is the original format you saved them as?

      from what i understand is that the gba uses mainly audio samples for almost all its sounds, so basically if you can find the audio discs or sound hardware that the game composers used you can recreate the music in HD, but i dont know too much about the gba sound hardware so i could be wrong

      i believe the sega genesis/cd/32X also use this same method for a lot of there music

      there's a program who can do the trick, i think it's the gba mus ripper

      @@prism182 SNES did. Genesis was a lot more limited as far as samples go, and was mostly just a single built-in instrument set.

    • @Arkouchie
      @Arkouchie 2 месяца назад

      The Sega Genesis was more limited with samples, but it did have a whole-ass Yamaha synthesizer inside it. It was harder for a lot of devs to use, but in the right hands it can pull off some incredible stuff.

    feels like some instruments are too low in volume compared to the original, my bet is that whoever arranged/programmed the tune equalized like that to compensate for compression

    • @Jasler7
      @Jasler7  Год назад +3

      Probably turn up your volume a little bit, it sounds fine to me.

      @@Jasler7 Nah, I agree with Mat. Especially the section around 0:13, what sound like the strings(??) sound a bit low. Maybe it's just my preference but I think that's what he was talking about.
      Appreciate the longer play time!

    I love this theme but there was always a part of me that felt it it didn’t fit after kraid was defeated and that there was a more subdued version for post kraid
