I live in Tacloban City and our house is just 15 minutes away from the Samar Island. When I was in highschool, I remember seeing a HUGE bird just gliding over our neighborhood while I was walking on my way to the highway (I live in a subdivision and the walk to the highway to ride public transpo takes 5 minutes or more) and I remember thinking, "is my vision playing with me and that bird is just flying super close to me or is that a really, reaaaally big bird??" I stopped to admire the bird's beauty for a few minutes before it flew off someplace where I wouldn't be able to see it anymore. I never told anyone about the incident because I merely thought no one would believe if I told them that I saw a huge bird and that I think it's an eagle. I also don't think anyone else saw it since our subdivision doesn't really have a lot of residents and at the time, I was walking alone and had no one else to share my experience to. I only told my husband, whom I met a few years back here in Cebu, kind of like one of those random topics that you have with your SO. Watching this documentary, this confirmed my suspicion that it was indeed an eagle that I saw in our neighborhood. I'm ecstatic, elated, I never thought I'd see one in my entire life and I had the chance to see it without even realizing it. Hahaha. Thank you so much for this documentary and I hope you never stop capturing amazing moments in nature

I live in Tacloban City and our house is just 15 minutes away from the Samar Island. When I was in highschool, I remember seeing a HUGE bird just gliding over our neighborhood while I was walking on my way to the highway (I live in a subdivision and the walk to the highway to ride public transpo takes 5 minutes or more) and I remember thinking, "is my vision playing with me and that bird is just flying super close to me or is that a really, reaaaally big bird??" I stopped to admire the bird's beauty for a few minutes before it flew off someplace where I wouldn't be able to see it anymore.
I never told anyone about the incident because I merely thought no one would believe if I told them that I saw a huge bird and that I think it's an eagle. I also don't think anyone else saw it since our subdivision doesn't really have a lot of residents and at the time, I was walking alone and had no one else to share my experience to. I only told my husband, whom I met a few years back here in Cebu, kind of like one of those random topics that you have with your SO.
Watching this documentary, this confirmed my suspicion that it was indeed an eagle that I saw in our neighborhood. I'm ecstatic, elated, I never thought I'd see one in my entire life and I had the chance to see it without even realizing it. Hahaha.
