He said he didn't have anything on him to tame them or he probably would have lol ik i would have tamed that blue one for a mutation breed and one of those 150s as well sad he missed out on that green perry tho
@@StuffedBurrito05 yes but he went back to base for med brew, he easily could have gotten darts and tamed them too

Takeawy this time: "Rabies is fun". I enjoy the humor, it never gets old.
Great cave hunt today! Or just use an antidote and it instantly cures the rabies, and no need to wait it out.
I’m trying out custom recipes, specifically a drink with just enough stimberries to make it so the drink gives -0.03 water and a little over 200 health. Due to not filling up your water, the drink effect is not interrupted and seems to offset the rabies easy. The point of custom recipes is that they have crazy long spoil times.

Have to point out here, if you want chitin, go to the swamp cave. Nothing but bug in there, and if you take a megatherium, you can end up with 100k plus (I use a stack mod). And I can here everyone think it; no, I'm not fun at parties.

My needs for Soloing the Ark has been fulfilled.
I went and did a cave dive yesterday on rag and got hit with rabbies went to use an antidote and discovered that i didn't have any and ended up dying just about 5 steps away from the artifact and all i had on me was an ascended shotgun 300 shotgun rounds, cooked fish and hide armor plus the fiber and hide for repairs no antidote because i forgot to make it and no barry because i was in an entrance that had no room for the barry to move through so i left my cryo tames on me therizino outside between the respawn hut and cliff face so it would stay safe and 2 days ago i managed to tame 2 gigas in the highlands with in the span of 5 to 6 hours their torpor is ridiculously high almost died to 3 different allo packs while trying to keep them asleep luckily i had my thyla to help tank the allo bites
i start to play this game (i retry playing) when i start to watch ur vids (season 5) and on the first cave, i remember u saying "watch out the rabies", but u never get it (at least on that vid)... then i was "lest try a cave!" i do it the easy one on a tricke (yeah...) and of course... all happens (get rabies, a megalania jump on my head and scare the crap of me, an Arthropluera destroy my armor and i dont have the material for repair... all that kind of good stuff that we ark players love). But! i get the artifact... and when i was coming back to my base (it was night in the game) a wild theri kill me and my tricke...
you got raptored. pretty good story, sorry about the trike though :( at least he did his job and got you home!(mostly)
I must say the flat area that is right next to the chitin cave between the volcano and the mountain next to it is prime real estate base location especially to make a big base area and is center to all obelisk is close to tek cave and huge amounts to metal and obsidian. Gigas dont spawn just rexes after you build a base there and mainly will spawn on giga mountain or blue obelisk

If you eat extra pieces of food it keeps your health going up as long as possible
Not sure if you are aware that lesser antidote cure mega rabies but I find that little tip very useful

Health potions in inventory are rabies repellent.
Wow phlinger got a 2 150 allo’s one male and one female(breeding pair) and has a 135 allo in it Phlinger you don’t know how lucky you were to find a male and female 150 allo’s in one pack 😭🤧
You really need to tame those Allos, you can't fight the bosses without your 4 horsemen!
You missed one of the xp boxes, and forgot to mention that megalania like this cave and will drop on your head if you're not careful...
Too bad the Real chitin cave is immune with a megatherium..be sure to bring your gas mask or full scuba set for the poison gas...don't forget the shotguns :)
I assume you run all the fires for charcoal. Is there a reason you don't use a few forges instead? They have way more slots and will hold more charcoal. Love your videos.

There's like no chitin lol, for me the chitin cave is the redwoods one. Take a megatherium through there and just right click lol
It’s because all that spawns there is bugs like the swamp cave in huge amounts so much so that it’s easy to get chitin and huge amounts of it without having to worry about getting lost or needing gas masks
@@manslayer691 I guess he addressed that at the end but I didn't see very much in the name of bugs this run.
You're 100% right on the mask thing though, kinda forgot that's not usually available early on
