Polyester is cheaper and heavier. Dyneema is better.
Do you think that I would be able to use brick layers cord because I’m 16 and don’t have a lot of money
You can use any cord, just test it for strength. Make sure it is thick enough for you to hold and, always dive with a very sharp knife.

Hi Sasha, The white line is dyneema and the red is polyester. The dyneema comes in 1,5mm or 1,8mm.
