is it just me or buckethead actually lost some of his skills? as this 2006 was much more better and more technical ruclips.net/video/RTBNh-XTwI0/видео.html

He's been sick for a long time, he probably gets tired easily and make lots of mistakes because of his heart problems, even tho he stills jam awesome!

Even though he said he wants to recover the level he had in 2009, he still plays like a demon! Now, here I think he forgot how was the solo 'supposed' to sound like (but with Bucket you never now). And lo' and behold, he improvised the whole thing effortlessly! He also 'threw' a sweep and tapping section out of the blue like it was nothing. These kinds of things require some SERIOUS skill. Now as for the minor chop in between? That must've been something concerning the pick and his transition between picking-tapping-picking. But hey, he improvised it! In the end I think it was a decent performance, but definitely not his best. Anyways, I wrote much more than I intended lmao long live the GOAT!

Maybe would need more then this one example to know for sure though, I saw him play live 6 times all between 2004 and 2008 and at his worst it was amazing but hed make some errors- everyone has bad nights- at his best was literally the best guitar speed and technique and musicianship il ever see in my life, however he is what 51 years old now himself, has had heart issues, its likely hes not exactly in his"prime" of course, and heck even Paul Gilbert has slown down some over the years, likely Buckethead has as well, but has he lost like a noticable or alot of his skill and speed I doubt it not yet anyways, but again would need more then this to go on, this just seems like an avarege version of Botnus here is all, not one of his worst or best of it. And he has many and again they range from adeqaute to good to perfect depending on the performance.

@@AustinDM54 Hey can you tell me where you heard or read him saying about how he wants to get back to playing how he was 10 years ago? was that that one radio show he did or an interview or article?
